practice makes perfect. i think it’s so cute than alan gives stephen and anna the seal of approval like daddy. adorable.

Alan is so cute here. And I think he’s right that Stephen and Anna are both so professional that it wouldn’t impact the show should they split. I’ve seen couples who break up actually have more chemistry onscreen, but I’m not sure that would be possible in this case.
I’m sure Alan’s “OK wow” comment from another article has to be about the Bill/Sookie love scene, right? Now I’m even more excited.

Okay, here comes the big wet blanket. ….I wish they’d lay off talking about Anna and Stephen’s personal relationship. On the one hand I’m happy for them to find love in each other’s arms in the rough tough world of Hollywood. Everyone needs a shelter from the storm and it sounds like they are that and more for each other. On the other hand, it messes with the fantasy for me to equate real life with what I see on the screen. It takes me out of the moment.

It doesn’t bother me, but I can see why it would bother some. I just don’t see Stephen and Anna when I watch Bill and Sookie.
I do think their real-life relationship has brought the show attention it wouldn’t have received otherwise, so I’m grateful for that.

i agree about it boosting the show’s media presence. which they didn’t want to do in the beginning. they wanted the show to stand on it’s on. and now it does, so why not be open about it. everyone wants to know. it’s like a whole other fairy tale besides bill and sookie.

i think for the average viewer it doesn’t matter. the average viewer isn’t even aware they are together. none of my friends who watch knew until i told them. and why do i know??? because i go on boards like these and stalk any media relating to them. i think it’s the price of being in the fandom. for me personally it doesn’t matter, but i could see how other people may feel as you do. i still feel i am watching bill and sookie’s story. when i first view episodes i don’t think about stephen and anna because i’m too caught up in the moment. it’s when i go back to rewatch and analyze that i see stephen and anna at times, but that’s because i want to, not because i can’t help it.

I’ve been shocked at how many surprised reactions I saw, mainly on Twitter, to Stephen being British and being in a relationship with Anna. These people had no clue until Stephen’s stints on The View and Jimmy Fallon yesterday. It cracks me up that we know so much and yet the average viewer knows nothing but “True Blood is cool!”

Fancy this, Lou, one of my kids, til I showed her The View yesterday, had never seen him. In this house!…she had no idea what he looked like. I asked “Now don’t you think that’s a good looking man?” She replied, “He’s OK, but nothing to obsess over the way you do.” Where did I go wrong?

I know! I’ve also read styuff like that on twitter. “Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin from True Blood are together?!” LOL LOL I do think that peopel who doesn’t come online much doesn’t know about it because it’s not like a big celeb couple. They are pretty low key and not everyone knows who they are. Even Anna. I had no idea who she was until I saw True Blood
I love when Alan says something like “We killed a cat in our show. We beheaded it” Hahaha

Two of my favorite shows! True Blood and Grey’s, woot!

i think it’s shocking to us who have been addicted to true blod and stephen since day one to realize other people are clueless. as billsbabes we live and breath true blood, stephen, stephen and anna. even out of people who love the show, there are a select few that go as far as we do, and some that go even farther (i do pride myself on having a life, but commend those that don’t haha). right now i know nine friends that watch it. none know anything besides what they see in the episodes and i am constantly surprising them with my vast knowledge.

Knowing they’re a couple offscreen and watching their scenes again, all I can think is, damn, they just smolder in their scenes together. I hope we get *more* Bill/Sookie sex in season 2.
