It’s official! Anna Paquin has a “True Blood” boyfriend!
True Blood stars Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin say it’s true love. The pair—who play romantically linked 173-year-old vampire Bill Compton and telepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse on the HBO series—have confirmed they are dating. “We are together,” Moyer told TV Guide Magazine exclusively on the True Blood set—right after finishing an intense scene where Bill and Sookie have a major lover’s quarrel.
Moyer and Paquin’s real-life romance first sparked at the True Blood audition, but the couple decided to wait to go public. “The reason it was dodged last year was very intentional on both our parts,” says Moyer. “It was very important to me that the cast and crew we were working with didn’t feel it was fickle, and didn’t feel it could possibly potentially encroach on their lives, you know, just like, ‘Oh the two stars are having a thing.’ We didn’t want to take anything away from the show. The show is the star, not the two people having a relationship.”
So where is this romance going? Well, it seems Moyer, 37, and Paquin, 26, are living together—at least on this side of the pond. Moyer, who is British, divides his time between Los Angeles and London where he has two young children from a previous relationship. “It’s just exciting and that was there from day one,” Moyer says. “We always take the piss out of each other and are silly with each other and it is great. We’re very, very happy. She’s the best.”

Aw, I’m glad they’ve finally come out of the closet! I thought they might break up before we ever knew they were “officially” together. Glad to know they tease each other – both have said that in interviews, and they’re always laughing together. Too cute. And that scene sounds intense, can’t wait to see it.

Aww! That is such great news, even if the rest of us had already figured it out. It’s nice to see that they feel confident enough in their relationship,and with each other, that they can finally reveal it to the public. Good for them! They are just so darn cute together! The age difference shouldn’t really matter, as someone once said: “the way I see it ,age is about mind over matter, if you don’t mind it, it don’t matter!” lol
Even people who are the same age can have problems in a relationship. My sister and her second husband are 13 years different in age and they have been together 34 years! She and her first husband were the same age and they lasted two years! I think it just depends on the people who are involved in the relationship, as to whether it will work or not.

In all her years in Hollywood, Anna’s been linked to only two other actors: Logan Marshall-Green and Kieran Culkin, suggesting that she doesn’t make her relationships public (or let them become public) until there’s definitely something there.

I was just re-reading some of the posts and I agree with those who stated “age is just a number”. He looks delicious and she is simply stunning, seems like the have a hoot of a time together. They both deserve such happiness.
I believe, Anna had maybe links with two or three fellows previously. The Who Dated Who web site states in 2001 Anna dated Joaquin Phoenix, 2004 Logan Marshall-Green, and 2007 Kieran Culkin, in my humble opinion… all “boys” compared to the lovely Stephen Moyer. Anna is a very private person, which is another thing I love about Stephen & Anna. Keeping their private business out of the media takes some hard work on their part.

I think the “Joaquin Phoenix date” is just a rumor, she just said on interviews they used to go out in Berlin to eat at vegetarian restaurants (both are vegetarian), not sure you can extrapolate to them being lovers. She was barely 18 when they shoot the movie…
Anyway, Anna and Stephen seems quite happy, it seems it’s the first long time relationship for her and the first one for him too after his “previous relationship”, so KUDOS to both.

the whos dated who site doesn’t have their information correct. she dated logan from 2004-2005 and before that some dj in new york for a year. then she started dating kieran culkin in spring 2005 and was still dating him until she moved from new york to la to start filming true blood. she called kieran her soulmate in some article too, which was sweet because i still think they were very well suited for each other. i heard they’re still very close too.

Perhaps the “lover’s quarrel” is from Sookie’s discovery about Bill and Uncle Molester, which leaves her to jump out of the car and meet the Maenad, as in the book. Or, if the interview was in early January, it could be about Jessica. I don’t see how Bill could keep Jessica a secret beyond season 1.

Have to say I wonder why they’ve revealed their relationship now, when they have been so private, both individually and as a couple, before. I love them as a couple,but something strikes me as strange. Why did Stephen confirm this news? I have never heard Anna mention Stephen in a romantic way. I wonder if Anna knew he was going to make the announcement. Maybe Stephen became frustrated with the reporter questioning him about his love life, especially after a highly emotional scene (A Break-Up). He also did not have to divulge that he moved in with her. Most people on other sites think less of him now I still think he is the best, but it just seems so unlike Anna.
