According to the Los Angeles Times True Blood is a possible candidate for an Emmy nomination.
The Eligibility period ends on May 31 and academy members can begin voting for nominees on June 5. The nominations for the 2009 Emmy Awards will be announced on July 16. The winners are to be unveiled on September 12 (creative arts awards) and 20 (CBS telecast).
