The MPSE GOLDEN REEL AWARDS were held yesterday, February 20, 2010 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites in Los Angeles. This is the award in which they acknowledge the year’s best work in the various areas of sound editing: Dialogue & ADR, Effects & Foley, and Music.

I have no idea what constitutes good sound editing, but congrats to True Blood! Since it’s for the finale, I choose to believe that the music and dialogue in the Bill and Sookie dance scene had something to do with it. :D
