Agreed. I have no evidence to back this up, but my theory is that SM was more disciplined about staying out of the sun in Season 1, and now in Season 2 he goes outdoors more often which results in the make-up team having to apply a thicker/whiter base. (He alluded to the increased sun exposure in his interview with Conan.)
Regardless of the reason, the creative team needs to find a way to get make-up looking less powdery in Season 3.

or they can just let him be less pale. i don’t understand why him being tan = let’s make him whiter guys. the first few episodes he was only slightly white, so they should just work with the tan not against it.

Great fun! I enjoyed all the tidbits about the show … the cast contributions … everything that went into the making of my favorite show on television right now. Thank you, Shad. This was a treat!!

This is from a Swedish channel site where the show has just started :-) I found it while I was just looking around, haha

Thank you for the video, it brings back memories of something similar that was shown on HBO before season 1 premiered. I don’t know if they are the same? but it doesn’t matter it’s just fun watching!

I really enjoyed this video. It’s fun to see some of the behind the scenes moments and hear the comments from Alan Ball and the cast. I wish they would make more of these and also put out some blooper tapes…that would be a hoot to see. Thanks Shad.

Thanks so much! Something of Stephen’s I haven’t seen before. Interesting looking back, hearing what they were aiming for, but knowing what we know now. That was the show I fell for. Season two, not so much. Hope the last two episodes bring it together well.
