Both Carrie Preston and Tanya Wright premiered their films at the 8th Annual San Francisco International Women’s Film Festival. Below are videos of their appearances:
On Saturday April 14, 2012 Tanya Wright’s film, “Butterfly Rising” was screened @The Roxie Theater and she spoke about her process in creating her film. SFIWFF Founder & Executive Director Scarlett Shepard lead a discussion with Tanya and actress, McGhee Monteith who co-stars with her in the film.
On Sunday April 15, 2012, Carrie Preston (director) and screenwriter Kellie Overbey (original play writer, also) for the upcoming film, THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID at The Roxie Theater, this was the closing night of a two-day film festival.
