On Monday August 31, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer were in Gdańsk, Poland for the premiere of her movie “The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler”.
The film tell the story of Irena Sendler (Anna Paquin) a Polish woman who saved the lives of over 2500 Jewish children by helping them escape from the ghetto in Warsaw. Showing this film now in Poland has an extra significance because this year is the 70th anniversary of the beginning of WWII.
I saw this movie and thought it was a great tribute to a very courageous woman.

Anna gave a wonderful performance in this movie. It’s a very moving portrayal of an uncommonly brave young woman. I hope some of the kids if they are still alive or their families are aware she was their savior.
