The Halloween horror movie Trick ‘R Treat directed by Michael Dougherty and starring Anna Paquin was shown in a special screening Sunday night (October 4) at the Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles. Dougherty, Paquin and actor Tahmoh Penikett attended the screening and participated in a Q&A after wards.

Trick ‘r Treat (2008) tells four interwoven stories that occur on Halloween: An everyday high school principal has a secret life as a serial killer; a college virgin might have just met the one guy for her; a group of teenagers pull a mean prank; a woman who loathes the night has to contend with her holiday-obsessed husband.

I have to admit, when I first read about this movie, I wasn’t too sure about it, another cheesy Halloween movie…..but I watched the trailer and by gosh, it might just be scary! Looked pretty frightening.

This movie is AWESOME!!!!! I cannot wait to buy it on bluray tomorrow. No, it’s not really SCARY exactly, but it is such a fun old fashioned halloween movie!!! It’s kinda reminiscent of 80’s horror movies :) lots of fun!

I love this movie. Saw it last week. It’s both funny and scary and Anna’s character’s storyline has a pretty big twist. I wasn’t prepaired for that AT ALL, lol
