True Blood’ star Carrie Preston talks her festival debut as a director

True Blood’s Carrie Preston was at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival for her work behind the camera, as the director of the distaff sex comedy That’s What She Said. EW took to the skies, riding a gondola at the Canyons Resort high above Park City, Utah and interviewed Carrie about her film.  In the interview she talks about her hilariously harrowing trip to the annual Sundance directors brunch, and what to expect from both True Blood‘s Arlene (more Scott Foley!) and The Good Wife‘s Elsbeth (is Will’s grand jury case over?).

Check out the two part interview by clicking on the image below below.  Carrie talks about True Blood in the second part of the interivew.

And, here’s another video with Carrie where she talks more to IOTG at Sundance 2012: Carrie Preston and Kelly Overbey Chat About Dangerous Dildos in ‘That’s What She Said.’

Nice interview. The interviewer said the noisy jumping of the cable car made him nervous – it made me nervous too!
Carrie is certainly one busy lady! She is so talented, and so down-to-earth and humble, she deserves all the success coming her way.
