The character of Jessica has to be one of the best additions to the True Blood cast. Deborah Ann Woll, has done a wonderful job making the baby vamp really come to life (or dead). The relationship between Jessica and Hoyt and the scenes she has with Pam blow us away. But since last season Bill tried to release his progeny from her duties to him as her maker, we wonder what will happen this year between them. Now that Bill is rejected by Sookie, how will their relationship change?
Here’s a transcription from the video:
“I’m going to have to talk to our writers,” Woll tells us. “I’m not exactly sure that release held, because I didn’t accept it. I’m not sure if he was actually successful in that.”
That may be a good thing for Bill as it sounds like he’s going to need Jessica next season. “Yes, we’re continuing to be in contact,” she confirms.
“Someone else mentioned that now that there’s trouble with Sookie and everybody else,” Woll adds. “That I might be one of his last affectionate relationships. I like that idea and I haven’t really thought of that. Yeah, I think [her relationship with Bill] will continue to be.”
Also, Woll talks about trouble ahead for Jessica and Hoyt’s (Jim Parrack) romance, the evolution of the young vampire’s relationship with Pam (Kristin Bauer) and exploring the potential of Jessica’s growing vampire abilities.

I, too, hope that Jessica and Bill will grow closer. He’s going to need someone in his corner. A developing relationship with Pam sounds good as well. Bill with his efforts to retain some degree of humanity, and Jessica with her desire to further explore and increase her vampire powers … that will make for some interesting learning experiences for her. Sounds like she will take from both her maker and “Auntie Pam.” And of course there is Hoyt in the picture as well. Jessica should have a busy and interesting season.

I love the dynamics between Jessica and Bill. They have wonderful chemistry. Their reunion scene in Season 3 was the best acting, imo, of the whole season. Looking forward to their scenes in Season 4.

I love the scenes with Jessica and Bill. I want them to continue to build that bond as maker and child so they both know they can rely on each other. I can imagine the advice Pam will give her and Bill’s reaction to it. lol

I loved the scenes with Jessica and Bill. Stephen and Deborah really have great chemistry and I’ll be terribly sad if we don’t get to see them together. I really want more Jessica and Bill. I was thinking that Jessica would be added to the series to further develop Bill’s character away from Sookie.
