Evan Rachel Wood will be back as Queen Sophie-Anne in the third season of True Blood, but in the meantime she signed up for ‘The Conspirator’.
The by Robert Redford directed film is the historical drama about a Confederate sympathizer who was tried as a conspirator in the Lincoln assassination and the man who defended her before a military tribunal. Other cast members are James McAvoy, Robin Wright Penn and Justin Long.

This sounds to me like an interesting film–I like historical pieces. James McAvoy is brilliant–hope ERW brings her A game!

Yes this premise appeals to me. I am sorry to say I have lower expectations of ERW after seeing her as Sophie Anne.
