True Blood’s Kristin Bauer van Straten is always helping those less fortunate, whether they be animal or human in charitable ways and we applaud her efforts. Last Sunday she posted on her Facebook page, (The Van Stratens) that she would be shooting a video.
She wrote: I’m shooting a music video this weekend 4 a #Slash & #AdamLevine song, w/ dir Clifton Collins Jr. to benefit homeless kids. Then later she wrote: finished Slash, Adam Levine music video tonight – It’s going to b great! off to bed.
Can’t wait to see it!
The video is being done for the Los Angeles Youth Network. LAYN’s mission is to empower abused, neglected and homeless adolescents to become self-sufficient. They do this by providing street outreach, food, emergency shelter, transitional living apartments, and educational enrichment programs in a nurturing and safe environment.
Founded in 1984, The Los Angeles Youth Network (LAYN) is a California non-profit organization whose mission is to end homelessness one kid at a time, by providing shelter, food and counseling for the abused, neglected and abandoned. The goals for each child are to successfully complete the permanent transition away from street life to a safe and secure living environment and to fully participate in society.
