Back in June, The Vault posted an exclusive interview with Marcia Derousse who played Dr. Ludwig in season 2 of True Blood. Even though she was only in one episode during the season, she made an indelible impression that has been evidenced by the following she has generated among True Blood fans. I’m sure that the good doctor will make a return considering how much damage the characters of True Blood endure!
I also wanted to take the opportunity here to ask fellow Truebies if they would request to see the show True Blood on iTunes. They carry all of the audio books so I don’t understand why the show is not available.

I really adore Marcia! For such a diminutive woman she made an immense impact with her scenes on True Blood and I would love to see her back for Season 3 with more interaction between her and the WERE’S and VAMPS.

I kept hoping to see the good doctor in season 2. Jessica needs her help with her perpetual hymen problem. I will be highly disappointed if Dr. Luwig doesn’t make a housecall in S3. You know someone is going to need her skills. Marcia owns that role and we simply must have her make more appearances.

I would love to see Marcia return for S3! Dr. Ludwig will be needed since there will be shapeshifter’s, vampires and were’s. You know there will be bloodshed!

Thanks for posting this, Lynn. We want her back! As I’ve said to Marcia, she’s one of the characters in True Blood who appeared in the show exactly as I envisioned them while reading the books. She did a spot on portrayal…great casting, and great acting. There’s always a need for someone to be put back together again in True Blood. Who better than that no nonsense, take no crap from the vamps, Dr. Ludwig?

Marcia is so much more attractive than I envisioned the doc that it threw me briefly . Two seconds into her performance and any preconceived notions flew right out the window. She nailed it and left us calling for an encore. Are you listening AB? We need the doctor stat.
