I’m so glad Alan Ball kept Lafayette alive. He is a HUGE part of True Blood. Nelsan seems like a truly nice and humble guy ( and of course a great actor!) Did the interviewer say “Emmy award winning show”? Not yet but it will be!

Terrific interview…it seems as though Nelsan is usually cast what could be called an insignificant character as Lafayette in TB (due to the fact of early death) and the original part of a homeless character in the Soloist but that due to his incredible acting ability he is shot up to stardom and either his parts are extended as in TB or given a much more important roll in the Soloist. Great Job Nelsan…just go guy!

Thanks for this, Shad. Good interview with Nelsan. He’s such an amazing actor. Big sigh of relief on my part when he returned to True Blood for Season 2.
