True Blood’s Rutina Wesley is making a new film called “California Winter“. In the video below we see a rough cut of 3 scenes from the upcoming feature. Rutina is in the second scene. You can see Rutina’s scene at approximately .53.
The story is about a young real estate agent who encouraged sub-prime lending during the housing boom must who now battle against the banks in an effort to rescue her father’s home from imminent eviction.
It’s directed by Odin Ozdil and Produced by Aimee Schoof, Isen Robbins, Daniel Sollinger. The cast includes: Michael Ironside, Rutina Wesley, Erik Avari, A Martinez, Walter Perez, and introducing Elizabeth Dominguez.
