British Channel 4 asked the True Blood fans last week to send in their most burning questions for Stephen Moyer.
The interviews was conducted by Tom, Channel 4 web producer. True Blood airs on Channel 4 for on Wednesdays, 10pm.
Channel 4 gave The Vault an exclusive clip with footage that is not part of the interview. The question that is answered by Stephen was sent in by Billsbabe Billshuman.

It was great because, well it was him, and he would get my attention if he were reading a McDonald’s menu aloud ..but also because it wasn’t the same old tired questions. Stephen does a great pirate face! I’ve watched my first vampire show because of him, so I guess he could get me to watch my first pirate movie too, look out Johnny Depp. It was fun to hear about his various other talents and interests.

Stephen, our family is a TB viewing family ~ 20 year old son with Mom and Dad and sometimes the same age nieces and nephews plus friends join in too. There is something for everybody on TB! I think its odd for you because your doing you know what to you know who *sigh* to watch with your Mum.
This was the best interview, great NEW questions from the TRUE fans. If I have to hear ” So Vampires are real popular these days, why is that?” one more time…….
Stephen and crew refer to the Graveyard Sex scene as the Crazy Mud Sex scene and he says it was not the first time on film?? Did I get that correct, and which film or films have I missed or are these films of a private nature! ha ha
Again with the missed films, what film is he the murderer?
A man with such beautiful hands (don’t get me started on the hands) has to be good with them, builds tree houses and does leather work! *2nd sigh*
I liked the part about Bill”s vampire nature and its something he cannot deny. Oh, AB pretty please, more BILL WITH FANGS! *melt*

I LOVED that question! And I completely agree that the fan questions are so much better than typical interviewer questions. SM also seemed the most relaxed I’ve seen him in any interview he has done, even those in the UK. Overall a great interview.

i love how he says “cleeuhntel” (a.k.a. clientele, also the name of my new favorite band who happen to be british). he is so sexy in this interview. i love that they stayed close to his face most of the time. he really does have a lot of skills and many talents. i wonder if he has made anything for anna. and how cool that the “crazy mud sex scene” was one of his favorites from season one. i loved the grin he had during paley when anna was talking about that scene. what a coincidence it’s one of our favorites too!!!

Hi all,
I’m Tom, the web producer at Channel 4. I really enjoyed reading all your comments about the interview, and I’m delighted and relieved that you all seemed to have enjoyed it.
Meeting Stephen was a nerve-wracking experience at first (not least because the entire place was swarming with journalists far more experienced than I) but he was such a thoroughly relaxed, easy-going guy that he made conducting the interview a lot easier. He had been doing interviews for almost two days straight by the time we sat down with him, so his cheerfulness was quite remarkable really.
I think he enjoyed answering your questions a lot. About half way through the interview, various press types told us that we were out of time, and Stephen point-blank refused to stop until we had what we needed. If he hadn’t have intervened, we would never have learned about his belt and bag making talents, or witnessed his brilliant impersonation of his mum (possibly my favourite moment).
We got some great questions from Billsbabes, in fact before the interview began, during the set up I said to Stephen, “I take it you’re familiar with Billsbabes?” He grinned, and leaning back in the chair he replied, “Oh yes. I talk to them regularly.”

Tom, we thought your interview was among the best that Stephen did when he was in the UK. I personally thought you did a wonderful job interviewing him. why can’t more interviewers ask things more in depth??? i love that stephen insisted on continuing. he probably got the sense he wouldn’t be asked the same questions and was enjoying himself. everyone always comments on how easy stephen is to work with and this is further proof. he didn’t have to go out of his way like that but he did.
