Jim Parrack has revealed that Ryan Kwanten often plays pranks on his True Blood castmates.
Jim, who plays Hoyt Fortenberry on True Blood joked to People Magazine that:
“I think if Ryan could retire from acting and be a prankster, he would consider it,” he told People.
“He took our cameraman’s car and filled it with ladybugs. He goes all out.”

Summer science fiction blockbuster “Inception” leads the way with nominations in 14 categories for Spike TV’s fifth annual “SCREAM.” Taping on Saturday, October 16 at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles, CA, “SCREAM” is the first and only global event of its kind to honor the luminaries in the sci-fi, fantasy, horror and comic book genres, and the actors, creators, icons and pioneers who have influenced and shaped the industry over the past year.
This year’s show will also continue the tradition of featuring exclusive World Premieres from some of the most anticipated movies of 2011. The two-hour extravaganza will premiere on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 19 (9:00–11:00 PM, ET/PT). Presenters and musical performers will be announced shortly.
“SCREAM nominees comprise the top four grossing films of 2010, totaling a US box office of over 1 billion dollars among them, and that doesn’t even include 2009’s Avatar, the most successful film in history,” said Casey Patterson, executive producer of “SCREAM 2010” and senior vice president of event production, talent development and studio relations for Spike TV. “This October, the fans, whose reverence for these genres makes them the commercial successes that they are, will once again have their night on Spike dedicated to honoring their heroes.”
Directed by Christopher Nolan, “Inception” nabbed 15 nominations in 14 categories, one for every year the critically hailed project was in development, including nods for “The Ultimate Scream,” “Best Ensemble,” and “Fight Scene of the Year.” “Kick-Ass” was nominated in 13 categories for a total of 17 nominations, while Tony Stark’s adventures in “Iron Man 2” garnered 13 nominations. HBO’s “True Blood” had the most nominations of any television series.

Sam Trammel who is nominated for best support actor said, “I’m thrilled to be included in this exceptional group of actors and so excited that “True Blood” has been recognized by the Scream Awards.”
All films, television shows and comic books were deemed eligible for inclusion if they were released between July 16, 2009 and July 16, 2010 and were representative of the genres listed. Winners will be determined by online voting at scream.spike.com.

Hollywood has taken notice of Alexander Skarsgård and signed him up for several upcoming projects, specifically “Battleship”, based on Hasbro’s board game, which he discusses in the video below:
“I don’t really think about that very much. It’s quite different from the board game, obviously,” he said with a smile. “Pete is a great guy — the director, Peter Berg — and I’m just excited to start it, I really am.” Skarsgård added that he flies to Hawaii this week to begin production.
Asked whether the film will feature any gratuitous shots of him and his co-stars running around battleships, looking pretty with big guns, Skarsgård was unsure. “I play a commander of one of the destroyers in the Navy, so, that’s a big gun,” he offered.
The topic of big guns brought up the current 3-D trend — will fans get their first three-dimensional look at Skarsgård in the flick? “No,” he said. “I don’t think so.”
“Battleship” is set for release May 25, 2012.

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer joined their “True Blood” castmates at the HBO After Emmy party. Below Stephen Moyer is interviewed by NBC LA inside the party in West LA. Stephen talks about the highlight of the evening for him which was Anna getting out of her ball gown and getting into something less formal (another Alexander McQueen dress) in the back of the car.
This weekend, we reported a story about Stephen Moyer suggesting that he might play Dr. Doom in the reboot of the Fantastic Four. When MTV News caught up with him last night at the Emmy Awards, they asked him about the role. In the video below, Stephen responds.
“Isn’t that great? Isn’t that fantastic?” he said, adding, “I know nothing about it.“
But was Moyer playing coy, or did he really know nothing about the role?
Sadly, he wasn’t giving up any more information — though MTV did manage to get a response from him when they asked if he’d be interested in playing the evil Latverian dictator.
“I don’t know,” he said, quickly changing his mind to a slightly more affirmative response. “Yeah, maybe. Yeah.”

Cheeks: To create a peachy pink flush, Agostina applied Nars blush in Orgasm on Mariana’s cheeks.
Eyes: For a soft look, Agostina used Valerie Beverly Hills eye shadows: muted purple tones on the lid and crease, pink as highlighter, and black at the corners of Mariana’s eyes. L’Oréal Voluminous mascara in Blackest Black, along with a few individual faux lashes at the outer corners, made the eyes stand out.
Lips: To create the magenta hue, Agostina filled in Mariana’s lips with Prestige lip pencil in Tango, then slicked on Valerie Beverly Hills lip shine in Revenge.
