Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer joined their “True Blood” castmates at the HBO After Emmy party. Below Stephen Moyer is interviewed by NBC LA inside the party in West LA. Stephen talks about the highlight of the evening for him which was Anna getting out of her ball gown and getting into something less formal (another Alexander McQueen dress) in the back of the car.

This weekend, we reported a story about Stephen Moyer suggesting that he might play Dr. Doom in the reboot of the Fantastic Four.  When MTV News caught up with him last night at the Emmy Awards, they asked him about the role. In the video below, Stephen responds.

“Isn’t that great? Isn’t that fantastic?” he said, adding, “I know nothing about it.“

But was Moyer playing coy, or did he really know nothing about the role?

Sadly, he wasn’t giving up any more information — though MTV did manage to get a response from him when they asked if he’d be interested in playing the evil Latverian dictator.

“I don’t know,” he said, quickly changing his mind to a slightly more affirmative response. “Yeah, maybe. Yeah.”

When Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer hit up the 2010 EW and Women In Film Pre-Emmy party at The Sunset Marquis Hotel on Friday (August 27) in West Hollywood, they were asked to record the moments in their careers to remember.

Specifically, Anna and Stephen were asked what moment of their careers would they most like to see frozen in time.

Anna answered, “Finding out I’d been hired for True Blood.”

Stephen added, “When [our characters] Bill and Sookie touch hands for the first time.” Aww, that’s so sweet!

We are keeping our fingers crossed for the release of an official wedding photo of Anna and Stephen. Although the paparazzi tried everything from boats to helicopters, they didn’t succeed in snapping any good quality photos of the newlyweds. The helicopters that circled above the wedding ceremony made it difficult to hear what was said and several guests have expressed that it was most annoying.

A few elements of the wedding turned out exactly as I had imagined. An outdoor wedding near the beach, Anna and Stephen both love the beach and the ocean and the wedding just had to be near the beach or even on it (but that would really have been a paparazzi nightmare). An intimate wedding with only family and their closest friends. Anna was not going to wear a traditional wedding dress, but a simple, stylish dress in ivory. I did expect her to go for something with a small but extravagant detail in the dress somewhere though. One of the guests of the wedding party tells us that “on contrary to reports Anna had the most incredible purple silk shoes (not black). Her dress was a 3/4 length, halter neck in ivory lace.” And about Stephen she says: “Stephen wore a dark grey 3 piece suit with black tie and shoes (with purple socks!).” A dark suit for Stephen, yes absolutely, but I wouldn’t had been surprised if he had skipped the tie.

Purple shoes, purple socks, purple carpet, purple tablecloth, purple presents… I wonder what else was colored purple on their special day. I case you didn’t know: purple is Stephen’s favorite color. There had to be a reason why his daughter is called Lilac, right?

Anna and Stephen made their first public appearance as Mr. and Mrs. last night at the Entertainment Weekly Pre-Emmy Party. You can see the photos here. We got a better look at Stephen’s ring and a perfect view of Anna’s ring(s), designed by Cathy Waterman.
