Recently Alexander Skarsgård told Life & Style all about Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer as parents and he has nothing but kind words to say about his True Blood co-stars.

“They’re doing an amazing job,” the heartthrob said at the LD Entertainment special screening of Disconnect in NYC on April 8. “We had a little promo thing in LA for True Blood and [their twins] were just beautiful. They’re bringing them to set everyday!”

Five months after giving birth, the actress showed off her incredible fit post-baby body at a Tom Ford cocktail event in Beverly Hills and even Alexander notes how great she looks.

“You’d have to ask her — I don’t know, but you’re right. She does [look insane]!” he replied when we asked him how she got back into shape so fast.

In the show, Anna’s character Sookie gets very close with vampires Eric and Bill played by Alexander and Stephen, respectively. But how does Stephen feel when Anna and Alexander have to film love scenes?

“We feel completely comfortable together. Steve and Alex are buddies,” Anna explains. “It’s nothing like, ‘Oh, hi, nice to meet you. Now let’s take off our clothes and go into the fog.’ Everyone is very respectful of each other’s boundaries…They’re all very gentlemanly about it.”

Yesterday, True Blood’s Stephen Moyer attended LA’s 1st Annual Film and Entertainment Soccer Tournament in Carson, CA. The event was held in partnership with the Mia Hamm Foundation and Grassroot Soccer.

During the morning of the event, the celebrities practiced doing a round robin group play and then came the elmination rounds. Stephen played for the team “The Hollywood Reporter” (THR) through the elimination rounds and helped the team make it to the playoffs for the final big tournament of the day which was to take place from 4 to 6pm. Unfortunately, Stephen was unable to stay for the final event. However, it’s so nice to know that a man who is so incredibly busy, can take time out of his schedule to aid a charity and help his team move forward. Let’s hope his team “The Hollywood Reporter” wins the day.

Stephen Moyer’s upcoming film, Evidence will be distributed to theaters and it should have it’s release this summer.

In a deal that was made in Austin, Texas on the eve of the SXSW festival, Image Entertainment picked up U.S. distribution rights to the film, a thriller which stars Stephen and Radha Mitchell. The rights include theatrical, home entertainment, television and digital. Image is planning a theatrical release for this summer.

Directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi, Evidence centers on two detectives (Moyer and Mitchell) who attempt to piece together what happened at the scene of a brutal massacre using a number of recording devices found at the crime scene.

“Evidence is a unique, gripping and gritty thriller unlike others since it constructs the story from the perspectives of the victims,” Bill Bromiley, Image’s chief acquisition officer, said in a statement.

During Oscar weekend, Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin went to several parties, and one of them was the Great British Film Reception. In this short interview with the pair, they talk about the importance of British cinema and actors. They even joke about Anna marrying a Brit so she could get into the British film industry.

Cute interview and nice to see them on the red carpets during the big climax of Hollywood’s awards season.

Anna and Stephen went out 2 nights in a row and attended the GREAT British Film Reception at British Consul General’s Residence on February 22, 2013 in Los Angeles, where they hung out with many British celebs such as James Frain to mention just one (Franklin Mott in season 3). I love Anna’s dress and it matches great with Steve’s sharp looking suit.

Our friend, Barbara of skarsgardfans.com has been going to the True Blood sets recently photographing lots of pictures and more goodies for the fans and she has been kind enough to share them with us. This week the filming is of the Governor of Louisiana mansion and Stephen Moyer was there doing some directing, presumably finishing up on Episode 1, even though they have begun episode 2 filming. Many times its more efficient to be filming two episodes simultaneously since often the same sets are used, etc.

Barbara writes:

True Blood filmed for season six on location at the home in the photos. Our speculations were correct that yes this is the home being used for “The Governor” of Louisiana. Here is Arliss Howard (left in the photo below) rehearsing the scene (I can almost quote the speech he gives word for word! Heard him repeat it many times for each practice and quite a few takes for the filming). His character is not a big fan of vampires. It will be interesting to see just what his role will be next season.
