Check out the Time Warner interview with True Blood’s Stephen Moyer during Comic-Con 2012 below.  In the video, Stephen talks about his favorite scene of the season that he gets to do with Anna Paquin and Alexander Skarsgard, where he says they,”get to do something they’ve never done before and it’s kind of amazing.

The Buzz: Comic Con – True Blood

Posted by Shadaliza On July - 26 - 2012

The Buzz was in San Diego at Comic Con with the cast of True Blood. Interviews with the cast and an impression of how crazy that day really was.

The following video was taken by me at the Warner Brother’s booth in the Exhibition Hall at 2012 Comic Con. The event took place right after the True Blood panel and I was among the crowds who were waiting for a glimpse at the cast members as they signed autographs for the lucky fans who had tickets.

To be privileged to get an autograph and stand in the signing line, the fans had to be one of the first 100 to be in the autograph signing line early that morning and win a pass. Congratulations to the lucky truebies who got to meet the cast and get their True Blood posters signed.

As you can see, it was quite crowded and it was hard to get too close, but I think this video provides a hint, for those not able to attend the event, of what it was like to be there among the crowds.

Last Friday, July 13, 2012, I met up with Michael McMillian, a.k.a., Reverend Steve Newlin at the IDW booth at Comic Con.  Michael answered a few of my questions in this short video interview about his True Blood character, his comic book Lucid and his continued work on the True Blood Comics. We previously reported that Lucid has been picked up by Warner Brothers, and Michael talks about it being made into a feature film.

As Micheal reminds us in the video, Steve Newlin’s wife Sara was supposed to be in Season 5, but the scene got cut from episode 2. Here’s the script showing the scene with Sara Newlin that was cut courtesy of Inside True Blood’s Blog.

He signed my hard bound copy of the True Blood comic, The French Quarter and Lucid, as seen below.

Thanks to Shadaliza for the video editing.

The Sexiest Bites from the True Blood Panel at Comic-Con

Posted by Lynnpd On July - 18 - 2012

Over at Inside True Blood’s Blog, they give us a summary of the “sexiest bytes” from the Panel that took place last weekend at Comic Con 2012.  Read about it below:

The True Blood cast has been coming to Comic-Con so long now that their panel has practically become an institution. And like any well-seasoned TV stars, they knew exactly how to deliver the hotness:

Alan Ball dished out some faerie stripper action.
You’ve already seen the club – it’s not a strip club per se, as it is more a burlesque club. We will see other faeries and other people in various states of undress … Sort of playing off the strip club in Charlaine’s books, we decided to make it a club where faeries just hung out and had a good time, which sometimes means having their way with humans. We wanted to be more adult, more sensual … more sort of soft-core porno faerie.

Alexander Skarsgard and Stephen Moyer relived their trunk scene.
Skarsgard: That scene was originally probably six minutes long, and it ended up being like a 10-second scene because …

Moyer: We couldn’t do it without laughing. But we did rehearse it all weekend … We both received emails from Alan, the lord and master. So we ended up kind of going in to see the principal and getting our wrists slapped.

Rutina Wesley is digging her new tiny leather clothes.
I have the feeling that Pam pulled Tara aside at some point and made her up. I remember my mother called me on Monday and was like, “That bustier was rockin’!” And I was like, “Um, thanks mom?” But it’s been fun to dress up this year and kinda have them thangs out.

Alan Ball promised three new romances – and lots more sex.
Regarding new romances … yes, I can think of three that are going to happen. Three new romances this season. And … there’s also a lot of other people having sex. But those don’t really count as romances.

Joe Manganiello has a super-racy favorite scene.
My favorite scene of all time was Valentine’s Day, last year at the lake, making a Sookie sandwich with Alex. Two naked dudes screaming, “I’ll f**king kill you!” with Anna in the middle and, like, a wolf running around in the background. That’s ‘True Blood’ to me.

Photos: True Blood Comic Con 2012 Autograph Session

Posted by Lynnpd On July - 18 - 2012

On Saturday July 14, 2012, the True Blood cast met up after their Panel at Comic Con and signed autographs for some very lucky fans.

In order to have the privilege of standing in line to get an autograph you had to be one of the many fans who stood in another line, early in the morning at about 7am (when the Convention Center opened), and also be among the first 100 in line for True Blood to receive a ticket. Many I know went and tried to get the much sought after ticket to no avail.

The cast signed the autographs at the Warner Brothers booth located in the Exhibition Hall and I was there amongst the crowds.

I shot a video of the mobs of fans and of the jumbotron which showed the cast signing. We will have this video for you sometime this weekend, but for now, here’s some photos from spoilertv.co.uk documenting the event.

Several of the the cast members from True Blood (Sam Trammell, Joe Manganiello, Kristin Bauer van Straten, Deborah Ann Woll, Stephen Moyer and Chris Meloni) show appreciation for the overwhelming support of their fans in the video below.

By the way, they are standing on the upper level of the Warner Brothers booth that was located in the Comic con Exhibition hall. I’m guessing this video was shot between the panel and the autograph session which took place below at 6:00pm. I was there and it was very packed. We’ll be having a video soon showing you what it was like.

At the Playboy/True Blood Comic Con party Stephen Moyer and Sam Trammell spoke with TRYCW.com in next videos. The After Party was sponsored by Playboy and the inside of the tent was decorated like the Faery Club on True Blood.

In the following video, Stephen is asked about when he first read Playboy Magazine.

In the next video, he says that Anna is good and in bed and he is going to be there too very soon. They know whether the twins will be boys or girls or a combo, but Stephen won’t spill the beans.

Sam Trammell answers a quick question about Twilight vs. True Blood at the Playboy True blood Party.

Kristin Bauer and Joe Manganiello were interviewed together by The Hollywood Reporter.

Chloe Noelle was on Good Day San Diego. Chloe plays Emma, the cutest werepup of True Blood.
