This video is so cute that we couldn’t resist posting it. Great parody!
The two vampire franchises go head to head in Mac/PC fashion. (Twilight/True Blood Parody/Review)
As True Blood’s Season 3 approaches all the promotional efforts have begun. We have seen some great new posters that include such creative tag lines like VILF and Get Your Fill.
The True Blood fans have been busy, too, creating their own publicity to draw attention to the show. We have featured her videos here before but now, SMVgrey has created four new fan made posters for Season 3.
They are all very creative and catchy if you ask me. HBO are you watching?
Thanks to Heathengirl64 for tweeting us about her fabulous True Blood fan art. See more of her creations.
Got VILF ?

Do you create True Blood fan art? Tell us about it at thevault@trueblood-online.com or @The_Vault on Twitter.
It seems the VILF ad campaign for True Blood’s Season 3 is sparking all sorts of comments and interest. Some of the True Blood Fans are already making new art work out fo the VILF poster we saw the other day. Here’s some samples for Eric, Bill, Godric, Jessica and Pam. Special thanks to our friend Margie at Allan-hyde.net for the Pam, Godric and Eric posters. Click on the images to see the larger versions.
We’re still waiting HBO! We need some good promos for Season 3 now!
Previously, we brought you the first fan made Season 3 video by SMgrey74 here. Now, she’s made a new one that really goes way out there into “speculation” territory. We think it’s worth a look!
SMGrey74 talks about making this video: “I used a variety of True Blood clips and also some non TB clips. Joe Manganiello has been cast as Alcide, a werewolf, season 3 will have a lot of variety to offer not only in terms of men but the supernatural. Audio was manipulated into certain scenes. Hours of editing until I was satisfied with the end result.
We’ve been waiting many long months., I read the books so yes, there are going to be some revealing secrets.
Here are the credits, for those who are wondering and to acknowledge that yes, you are going to recognize another show or movie clips. This is fan made, HBO hasn’t really given us any solid promo’s as of yet.
VIDEO CREDITS – True Blood, Vampire Diaries, One Tree Hill andWolfman
AUDIO CREDITS – Wolfman (growl), True Bloodm Future World Music – Turning of the Tides”
This video is purely “fan made” and we thank SMgrey74 for it’s creation!
Albert Exergian is a graphic designer/art director who has created a series of magnificent minimal posters for popular tv shows, including True Blood. You can see many more examples of his work including Dexter, In Treatment and Sex & The City on Exergian’s website.

A few other of my favorites are:

Listen Up HBO, we need some good promos for Season 3 now!
Here’s one that a fan has made for the show that we think you should look at.
SMGrey74 made her own fan made promo and she gives the reason for making it as: “For no other reason than we simply can’t wait for season 3.” I am constantly amazed by the creativity that the fans put into making their own True Blood related art work and this fan sure shows us the action and the feeling of the show in this tribute. Thanks, SMGrey74!
Billsbabe, Thellou has done it again. This time we have a lovely video that seems to fit very well into this holiday season.
She says: “I had to make a holiday vid for my favorite couple featuring one of my favorite Sarah McLachlan songs, ‘Song for a Winter’s Night‘. Please try not to think too hard about the fact that it’s snowing and Sookie is dressed in booty shorts and sundresses. If you can get past that…please enjoy! LOL”
Oh, Lou, we’re enjoying it. Thanks!
Billsbabe, Thellou has done it again, another great True Blood fan video. Lou tells us that this started as a Bill Compton video, then it became a “Bill and his women” vid, and then she had to throw the Bill/Jason hug in just because it’s awesome.
The song featured is “Drowning” by Saving Abel. Thanks Lou!!
I’m sure all of the True Blood fans remember this promo using the song, Addict Me, that ran on HBO prior to the launch of Season 2:
and then there’s the video that Billsbabe, Thellou made at the request of Billsbabe, Billshuman using the song to accompany Bill and Sookie scenes:
