Video: Stephen Moyer hints of crazy sex scenes in Season 3

Posted by Lynnpd On June - 17 - 2010

It seems that there is a big crazy sex scene that Stephen is going to be in during Episode 3 of Season 3. I think I know what it is, but won’t spoil it for anyone who doesn’t want to know. He talks about it in the video below.

E! Online recently caught up to Stephen Moyer who plays character Bill Compton on HBO’s hit vampire show “True Blood,” and he talked a little bit about the crazy sex scenes that’s coming up in season 3 (video below). It’s apparently supposed to be the freakiest thing we’ve seen in the series thus far. He also talked about working with the other actors, and more.

In clip below, Stephen commented on the sex scene script. He stated, “How in God’s name? Well, first, am I gonna do that, and who’s sex-sorted crazy mind does that stuff come from. It’s not just Alan. We’ve got very perverted, odd, staff.” They also reveal that Bill is indeed apart of the crazy sex scene. He said, “I don’t wanna give too much away. It’s a water-cooler moment, I think, possibly for the next 20 years.”

He went on to talk about how great the show is because they get to do crazy scenes like that. He also revealed that his co-star Alexander Skarsgård who plays character Eric Northman gets to do some pretty naughty stuff as well in season 3,and more. Check it out, below.

Its so great that my favorite show, the one I have watched since September 2008, when Bill Compton walked into Merlotte’s, is now an even bigger hit.  Congratulations to HBO, Alan Ball and all of the cast and crew!

Sunday was already shaping up to be the hottest night of the summer for cable primetime, and the addition of True Blood just turned up the heat. Its premiere 5.1 million average viewers and 2.9 adults 18-49 rating towered over the rest of the cable landscape.

The ever-increasing popularity of HBO’s True Blood has helped the television drama series to substantially increase its viewership over each of the last three years. When the first episode of True Blood aired in 2008, it was viewed by just 1.44 million people. However, the season two premiere brought in 3.7 million viewers and according to Buddy TV, Sunday night’s “Bad Blood” episode generated massive numbers.

The season three debut was watched by a total of 6.4 million viewers, with over five million people tuning in for the premiere at 9 p.m. ET and approximately one million more watching the replay when it aired three hours later. The numbers that were reported earlier today did not include other viewing platforms such as DVR, On Demand and reruns that will air on HBO throughout the rest of the week.

Last season, the vampire drama averaged 4.3 million viewers. So things are looking up for Sookie, vampire Bill and vampire Eric.

AccessHollywood interviewed the True Blood cast on the red carpet of the Season 3 premiere.

“True Blood’ newcomers Joe Manganiello, Natasha Alam and Denis O’Hare will turn up the heat in Bon Temps in the third season of “True Blood” as Joe protects, Natasha gets naked and Denis stirs up trouble.

Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard and Anna Paquin hit the red carpet for the Season 3 premiere of “True Blood” where Stephen chats about his new “furry” co-stars. Plus, Alexander discusses the growing chemistry between Eric and Sookie.

Please no! Not again, you stand at the True Blood premiere with a mic in your hand in front of Denis O’Hare and what do you ask him? “Are you team Edward of team Jacob.”  The “reporter” who pulled this stunt is from Zap2it.

Anna was not Stephen’s +1 at the premiere party

Posted by Shadaliza On June - 9 - 2010

Ok, so who was? Can I apply for the position for the Season 4 premiere? You know where to send the invite, Stephen….

In the VIP area of the premiere party, engaged stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer sat back to back at separate tables.

“It’s because we’re both cast members,” told Paquin the LATimes, wearing a cobalt blue and black Proenza Schouler frock. “I’m not his plus one, as it turns out. I think it’s actually so we can have our collective friend group.”

So what’s coming up this season for your character, Sookie Stackhouse?

“We find out what Sookie is,” she said. “I can’t tell you, obviously. There’s a lot of really surprising …
… moments, to say the least. I’m so bad at talking about what’s coming up without telling any plot points. It’s kind of hard to separate. And I don’t want to get in trouble with my boss, because I like Alan [Ball, executive producer].”

We read that you’re getting married this summer. Is that true?

“Where did you read that?”

Ah, the old answering a question with a question dodge. Well done.

Behind Paquin, Moyer, who plays the smitten vampire Bill Compton, was engaged in an intense conversation with cast member Carrie Preston, who was there with her husband, “Lost’s” Michael Emerson. Vampire Alexander Skarsgard circulated among cast members’ tables, while shape-shifter Sam Trammell greeted “Damages’” Tate Donovan and posed for a photo with Ryan Kwanten, who plays Sookie’s brother.

At a table on the balcony sat Charlaine Harris, the Arkansas-based author whose bestselling series of novels, “The Southern Vampire Mysteries,” inspired “True Blood.” Harris surveyed the busy scene below and munched on Hollywood’s idea of Southern cooking — Cajun turkey meatloaf, cornbread with honey butter and mini red velvet cupcakes.
