The wait is almost over…. 2 more days….

The first 4 episodes of the new season of True Blood have been sent out to the critics and the first reviews are popping up every on the Internet. Let’s hope they won’t reveal too many spoilers.

Pam will play a prominent part in the first couple of episodes and her famous one-liners won’t be missing of course.

The Post Gazette posted 2 of them from episode 5.01 and they strengthen our theory that Tara will be turned by Pam.

When Pam enters Sookie’s blood-soaked kitchen to find Sookie killed Debbie Pelt in retaliation for shooting Tara, Pam observes, “Color me impressed. You know how to party.”

Later, after aiding Sookie’s efforts, Pam declares, “I’m wearing a Wal-Mart sweatshirt for you all. If that’s not a demonstration of team spirit, I don’t know what is.”

Not only is HBO Go now also available on your iPad and Kindle Fire, but a new interactive viewing experience will be added to the HBO service, which will be available for True Blood for the first time starting June 10, which will allows fans to access various bonus content relevant to the episode.

This is what the Truebies can expect:

- Cast commentaries and insights from all of the series regulars including Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgård
- Quotes from the cast and crew
- Descriptions of new characters as they come into a scene

Interactive features that are exclusive to the experience on the iPad include social functionality–the ability to post status updates to Facebook and Twitter directly while watching. Viewers can also choose to watch the series in portrait orientation on the iPad which enables them to browse an in-depth character guide during episode playback.

But the iPad’s not the only way to get this bonus content. As mentioned, the Kindle Fire is now compatible with HBO Go, as is the iPhone, iPod Touch, numerous smartphones, Roku, Samsung Smart TV and XBox 360. HBO Go itself is “free” (or included) to HBO subscribers (subject to availability among their cable/satellite provider).

Video: True Blood Shooting in New Orleans

Posted by Lynnpd On June - 7 - 2012

As all the fans saw on the night of May 18, 2012, True Blood shot in New Orleans. We posted lots of photos from Twitter about the filming and many of those in the streets were used as extras and got to watch Alexander Skarsgard and Stephen Moyer horsing around.

Croeusmode  who shot this video wrote the following about the video:

On May 18, 2012, we wandered up on the crew of HBO’s True Blood filming a scene for season 5 (summer 2012). After finding a perch on the balcony of Krazy Korner (Bourbon and St Peter), we sat and watched (and filmed) the crew shooting a dozen or so takes of the scene posted here. This may or may not ever make it into the series, but it was interesting to spend about an hour watching. We’ll see if it makes it into one of the shows this season or ends up on the cutting room floor. No real spoiler here – all of this makes for about one minute of marginally consequential show time… Interesting to see what goes into filing a TV show though!

It’s still fun to see Alexander Skarsgård give Stephen Moyer a piggyback ride at the end!
