First HQ Photos for True Blood Season 5 have been released.

HBO has released another image from True Blood’s Season 5. This new photo is of Eric Northman and it’s from episode 4 and looks like it’s from the scene of the argument that Pam and Eric were having in last weeks promo video.

Scott Foley plays Patrick who is one of the few characters that is 100 percent human on True Blood. Foley told TVLine: “People ask me, ‘Oh my God, you’re on True Blood — what are you?!” And I have to keep saying, “Umm… nothing! I’m just a guy!’” he recounts with a laugh. “I’m not a vampire, I’m not a werewolf, I’m not a werepanther, I’m not a fairy, I’m not a shapeshifter. I’m just a guy coming into town trying to finish something he started back in Iraq.”

What exactly is the nature of his unfinished business with Terry? “Something happened between the two of them in Iraq that needs to be dealt with,” Foley teases. “I can’t say what it is. It has nothing to do with vampires or werelwolves. But there is a mission that they need to complete.”

An additional casting has been added to the original casting call for Season 5′s episode 5.09, ”Everybody Wants to Rule the World.” The casting call is for a faerie, as noted below:

HBO has just revealed the official teaser poster for Season 5.
The long wait is almost over, True Blood is back on June 10th.

It’s getting much closer to True Blood Season 5′s premiere and yet again, they’ve provided us with a new promo video.  The video aired right before the airing of the new episode of Game of Thrones. 

This promo features Pam and Eric.  Evidently, Eric is accusing Pam of having released Russell Edgington from the cement. She exclaims, how could you think I could go and dig up Russell Edgington.  Eric replies, “I trust no one.”

True Blood always has a big celebration to kick off the new season and this year will be no exception and once again, all the stars will be walkng the red carpet for the Premiere Red Carpet event.  We have learned that the red carpet premiere will be held on Wednesday, May 30th. Last year I attended and the entire cast was there and it was a blast.  This year again, the event will take place at the Arclight Theater Cinerama Dome in Los Angeles.

Now that Alan Ball is stepping down as Executive Producer and Writer of the show, we hope he will be there to lead his True Blood family at this wonderful event.

The long to wait before seeing our first episode of Season 5 is almost over. Are you counting down the days with us to True Blood Season 5?
