In last week’s episode (5.02) Terry and Patrick talk about their Iraq War buddy Brian Eller, whom we will meet later on in the show according to the July episode descriptions. The Eller character  is played by Brian Geraghty, best known for his performance on the Oscar winning movie The Hurt Locker.

I bet Brian Geraghty felt right at home on the True Blood set since he already has many friends there.

He starred in Open House with Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer. Seven Days in Utopia with Deborah Ann Woll and Law & Order SVU with Chris Meloni. He surfed with Sam Trammell at the annual Surfrider Foundation Celebrity events.

It will be interesting to see what part his character on True Blood has played in the life of Terry Bellefleur.

Robert Patrick has been added to the True Blood cast in the recurring guest role of Alcide’s father, Jackson Herveaux. Patrick is best knows for his Terminator role in Terminator 2.

He will first appear in a flashback episode that depicts Alcide and Debbie Pelt as teenagers in the 1980s. At the time, Jackson was said to be a “powerful, inspiring and heroic” guy, but in the present, he’s given up on life.

Jackson, as a way to repay his father’s debt to Eric, also stands as the reason that Alcide first agreed to help Sookies earch for Bill during Season 3.

He’s scheduled to make his debut in Episode 9, slated to air Aug. 5 and titled “Everybody Wants to Rule the World.”

A casting call for the True Blood season 5 finale surfaced on IMDB. Production is looking for a Sookie Stackhouse doppelganger…. what could that be about? Skinwalking? Dream sequence? Clooning?

True Blood’s last episode for Season 5 title has been revealed.  Episode 5.12 is titled, “Save Yourself.”  There’s also a casting for this final episode.

Production for Season 5 is getting close to shooting its last episode. Episode 11 is starting now and we’ve even previously posted some casting calls. However, here’s an additional request for casting and wow, it calls for full frontal nudity. This should be interesting.

True Blood Season 5 seems to be in the last stages of production with the next to last episode casting call, as seen below. The title of this episode is aptly named since we can now “finally” know that the new season is only a month away.
