Spoilers for the Finale Episode of True Blood Season 6

Posted by Lynnpd On August - 17 - 2013

s6spoilersThis week is True Blood’s last episode of Season 6 and Brian Buckner, the new showrunner, and Deborah Ann Woll spoke to EW giving them some hints about what we can expect to see in this last episode.

Brian Buckner says that this episode won’t be as bloody as last week’s Vamp Camp massacre.

What can fans expect to see:

The first half of the episode focuses on Sookie (Anna Paquin) and “a less patient” Warlow (Rob Kazinky), who expects her to follow through on her promise to become his fairy-vampire bride.

There’s a “significant time jump” in the second half of the episode, Buckner says, which will help move the action back to Bon Temps for next season so it won’t feel like separate vampire, fairy, and werewolf shows — which the actors are excited about.

Deborah Ann Woll said:

We have a couple of scenes at the end of this season where we were all there. It was amazing to see, like, the 20 cast chairs lined up with names of people I only see once a month,” Deborah Ann Woll (Jessica) told Entertainment Weekly managing editor Jess Cagle this week on EW’s SiriusXM channel. “What I’ve heard from Bucky, our new showrunner, is that he’s really interested in continuing that trend. So we hopefully will all be on the same show next year.

Bill (Stephen Moyer) will recognize the error of his ways. The question going forward is, can he be forgiven?” Buckner says.

And yes, we will see Eric (Alexander Skarsgård), who appeared to leave town after his Vamp Camp murder spree and feeding Jason (Ryan Kwanten) his blood — for at least one scene. Buckner describes it as ”sexy and provocative,” adding, ”There’s definitely something for the ladies and the gay men. We might see a certain body part.” Sweet dreams, Jason?! [Could this be a dream Jason has?]

Of course, there won’t be a happy ending for everyone. Big picture, let’s not forget that we have vampires infected with Hep V and a continuing Tru Blood shortage and now that Jessica is out of Vamp Camp, will she have to answer to Andy (Chris Bauer) for killing three of his fairy daughters?

As Deborah Ann Woll said in a previous interview:

”Well, that story is definitely not over. I remember when I first read that scene and what I was gonna do to those girls, my first thought was ohmygod, I don’t know how Jessica Hamby and Andy Bellefleur can be on the same show anymore. And I was almost certain that one of us was gonna be gone by the end of the year,” Woll said. “So we’re definitely gonna have to see a little more on that story in the finale.”

SPOILER ALERT!

True Blood’s Rob Kazinsky, Warlow, spoke with Access Hollywood and he told them that he is all anxious about how fans are going to react to the show’s Season 6 finale, airing on Sunday.

“I’m nervous,” Rob said, when asked if he was excited for fans to see the showdown. “There’s a lot happening this Sunday, especially with Warlow and Sookie.”

And the action will be even more surprising/provoking than Warlow and Sookie’s [Anna Paquin] infamous faerie-world cemetery romp.

It’s lot worse than that. There’s a lot of scary things that have to happen this Sunday to tee us up for next season,” Rob explained. “It’s been a fairly action-packed season – we’ve already lost a lot of characters and we’ve seen a lot of gore. There’s been a lot of crazy stuff and we have one more episode to finish everything off and I think it’s the most action-packed episode of the season.”

Fans may want to keep one of Lafayette’s hankies nearby to dry their eyes during the finale, as Rob said the show will lose more than one character on Sunday (after already having lost Todd Lowe’s Terry Bellefleur and Michael McMillian’s Steve Newlin this season).

Oh No, not more cliffhangers!  Let’s just hope its not as crazy as last year’s ending.

A few spoilers or more teasers actually from the digital version on Entertainment Weekly about the True Blood season finale.

The Tone of True Blood is going to changed by Season 6

Posted by Lynnpd On July - 24 - 2013

True Blood season 6SPOILER ALERT!

According to True Blood insiders, there will be more deaths in the sixth season and the deaths are “going to greatly change the tone of the show.”

Several of the cast members and even showrunner, Brian Buckner have commented on it.  It seems that no one is safe from death at this point, and there are only four more episodes for us to learn who they will be.

Two deaths already rocked “True Blood” in the Sunday, July 21 episode. Terry (Todd Lowe) and Governor Truman Burrell (Arliss Howard) kicked the bucket.

Todd Lowe said Terry’s death will send Arlene (Carrie Preston) on the road to vengeance.

“She will seek vengeance. She’s going to try to figure it out. We leave it as a little bit of a mystery as to why she can’t seek vengeance. I think that will be justified,” Lowe told TV Guide.

Now we’re really starting to feel it and to know why this year’s show slogan is “Nobody Lives Forever.”

Below are the comments gathered by Huffington Post about it.

Rob Kazinsky, who plays Ben/Warlow says:

“I’ll let you in on a secret: There are multiple deaths this season, (he told Access Hollywood) each is more shocking than the next and just when you think somebody just couldn’t bite the bullet, there they go.”

Michael McMillian, who plays Steve Newlin ,” also teased a huge death that changes the show.

“I obviously can’t say who it is, but I was definitely surprised when I found out,” McMillian told Hollywood Life.

At the “True Blood” Comic-Con panel, new showrunner Brian Buckner said the show will be getting back to basics as Season 6 wraps up and heads toward Season 7.

You’re gonna feel that the show is going to return back to its roots and it’s going to be about this group of people living in Bon Temps … we’re going to condense the number of stories we’re telling and make it feel like we’re coming home,” he said.

New Official Synopsis for True Blood Season 6, Episode 6

Posted by Lynnpd On July - 17 - 2013

s6spoilersHBO has updated the “official” synopsis for this Sunday’s upcoming episode of True Blood Season 6, “Don’t You Feel Me.”

Here’s the synopsis:

With Sookie immune to Bill’s influence after retreating to a plain that can only be accessed by faeries, Bill decides to seek out Lillith for advice on handling the escalating human/vampire crisis. Eric, Pam, Nora, Jason and Jessica get up-close-and-personal looks at the perverse perils of Vamp Camp. Sam comes to a decision he hopes will be in Emma’s bests interest. Andy gives his faerie daughter a name, or two or three or four. Arlene has a solution to Terry’s malaise. Bill faces off against Burrell, and Eric learns the startling truth about TruBlood’s resumed production plans.

The new synopsis provides some hints about what’s going to happen that we haven’t seen before. It looks like Sookie doesn’t die by her father, uh I mean, Lafayette and Andy’s faery girls might still be alive.  Also, will Bill’s face off with Governor Burrell help the situation and get the vampires freed and will Lillith help?

After reading this, what do you think might happen in this upcoming episode of True Blood?

Over at TVLine they have answered a question about the last scene in True Blood’s most recent episode, “At Last.” You may remember that Sookie made dinner for Ben (with some added silver droppings) and then, they got all cuddly on her couch. But, just as things got interesting, she revealed that she knew his true identity. The fans have been wondering why she took so long to reveal what she knew and it seems that in next week’s episode, we’ll find out.

Ausiello: This week, you’ll learn a whole lot more about exactly how the rare fairy vampire came into existence. Plus, it will make a bit more sense why Sookie waited until after she and her latest suitor were half naked before revealing that she knew his true identity.

Previously we posted that the title for the now infamous True Blood Season 6, Episode 7 had been changed from “The Funeral” to “World Without End.” Well, fans there is yet another change for the title of this episode. The title for the seventh episode of Season 6 has now been changed to: “In The Evening.”
Go see additional synopsis and other information that has been added to the Season 6 Episode Guide just today.
When the first title was announced and the rumors of a major death filtered through the internet everyone speculated that this episode would be when we would see the funeral for this major death. That still may be, but the new title was deemed necessary presumably for a reason, but unfortunately, we don’t know what could have prompted a third title to be chosen.

New information about the director of the episode:

* Director: Scott Winant
* Writer is Kate Barnow

New music choices for this episode:

Since the title of the episode is always a song title, below are our new possibilities for the song to end this episode.

Here are the song choices based on this “third” new title for this episode.

I particilarly think it will be this Ray Charles song. At least, I sure hope so because it’s a great song and he is the master.

Ray Charles – In the Evening (When the Sun Goes Down)

There are two other possibilities for it’s song , see below:

Led Zeppelin - In The Evening

Sheryl Lee Ralph - In The Evening
