Recently we posted changes to the first three episode titles for True Blood Season 6. When we posted them, we provided a caveat saying that the first three titles were questionable. We questioned especially, the title of episode 1 since the song that was the previous title of the episode, “Don’t Let me Be Misunderstood” is on the, soon to be released, Volume 4 CD of True Blood music. However, we can now verify that the new title of Episode 1 is “Who Are you Really?” and the new titles for episodes 2 and 3 are changed as well, to those reported last week, as follows:

Episode 6.01 – “Who Are You, Really?” (formerly, Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood)
Episode 6.02 – The Sun (formerly, Here Comes the Sun)
Episode 6.03 – You’re No Good (formerly Abducted)

Below is a screen shot from the HBO web site verifying the titles of the first three episodes.

Big Death Early in Second half of True Blood Season 6

Posted by Lynnpd On May - 7 - 2013

s6spoilersOver at Spoiler chat, we see an interesting tidbit about the supposed “major” death in True Blood Season 6. They report that the death will take place in the second half of the 10 episode season, but before the finale. Yikes, who could it be? We’re not happy about a possible death of a main character, but will have to be patient to find out who it is. Waiting sucks even more now, don’t you think?

Here’s the info:

Jessalyn P.: Summer time means True Blood time! Spill!
Sookie wants her life back! Everything is spinning out of control! The humans are pissed! The vampires are even more pissed! Basically, True Blood is going all out this year. Just watch the season six trailer and you’ll see what we mean. Plus, that big death that’s happening this season? It might happen a lot sooner than we originally thought. It’s in the second half of the season, but before the finale.

s6spoilersIt’s seems like it’s taken forever to actually get some info, but finally below are episode descriptions for the first three episodes of True Blood Season 6. They are sure messing with the titles this year as they have changed them for all three episodes from what was previously reported. We will update our Season 6 Episode Guide with the new titles below.

What we know is that Bill is reincarnated and gets used to his new powers, Eric seems to be dealing with things on a local level, and there is an impending castastrophe.  Yikes, looks like things are really getting hot in Bon Temps this year. Can’t wait!

Episode summaries:

Episode 6.01 – “Who Are You, Really?” (formerly, Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood)
Bill’s bloody reincarnation ushers in a new era for vampires, faeries and humans alike. (Written by Raelle Tucker; directed by Stephen Moyer.) Playdates: June 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20
PLEASE NOTE: This week the True Blood Music Volume 4 was announced with a full list of songs to be included on the CD.  “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” – Eric Burdon with Jenny Lewis is listed on the CD which would make us speculate that this new title might not be correct.

Episode 6.02 – The Sun (formerly, Here Comes the Sun)
Sookie meets a handsome stranger; Eric takes on the governor; Bill contemplates his new powers. (Written by Angela Robinson; directed by Dan Attias.) Playdates: June 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27

Episode 6.03 – You’re No Good (formerly Abducted)
Bill looks for a solution to an impending catastrophe; Eric takes a hostage, while Sam tries to recover one. (Written by Mark Hudis; directed by Howard Deutch.) Playdate: June 30

True Blood Season 6, Episode 8 Spoiler

Posted by Lynnpd On May - 2 - 2013

s6spoilersWe’ve yet to learn what the title of this season’s eighth episode will be, but Spoiler TV got a tiny little snippet that we just had to share. All we know is that:

For episode 6.08 of True Blood, the guest role of Funeral Director is being cast.

Presumably the funeral director might also be in episode 7 which is titled “The Funeral,” but as Episode 8′s title is still unknown we can’t be sure if they relate.

True Blood Episode 6.09 “Life Matters”

Posted by Lynnpd On April - 30 - 2013

s6spoilersWe still don’t yet have a title for the 8th episode of True Blood, but here is one already for episode 9. According to SpoilerTV the title of the ninth episode will be: Life Matters. Here’s what they say:

True Blood episode 6.09 will be called “Life Matters” and a few co-star roles are being cast, including a crazy vampire, a sickly vampire, and a male vampire who is the sickly vampire’s progeny.

Sam Trammell made Janina Gavankar cry on True Blood set

Posted by Shadaliza On April - 26 - 2013

True Blood Season 6 spoilers Big spoiler and speculation alert on this post.

Janina Gavankar revealed in an interview with Hollywood Life that Luna’s actions on last season’s finale will have dire consequences.

“She just outed everyone in the shifter community, so now the world knows there’s more than one supernatural creature on this earth,” Janina explained. “Holy. F**k. Imagine being a human watching that. As it is, you have to deal with the idea of there being vampires. This is potentially bad for every shifter on the planet.”

Janina teased that the shifters will experience in season six what vampires had to deal with prior to the series premiere.

“You remember when they ‘came out of the coffin?” she recalled. “It’s like restarting the series all over again for that supernatural group.”

While Janina doesn’t reveal much about what’s in store for Luna, she did tell about an emotional experience on set with Sam Trammell.

“I wasn’t even in the shot with him — I was off to the side, like 100 feet away — and the stuff I could hear him doing was making me lose my mind. I was in a warm up tent 100 feet away, and I was crying. True Blood is A-game all day long. I have nothing but major love for him. I go so lucky that I got paired up with him. He’s tremendous.”

Was Sam mourning for Luna in this scene? Luna was in very bad shape at the end of last year’s season finale and rumors are flying around the fandom that she may not have survived her latest skinwalker experience.

What do you think? Will Luna survive?

True Blood Season 6 Photos from the Governor’s Mansion

Posted by Lynnpd On April - 16 - 2013

Askarsgardfans.com got some photos on the set yesterday of True Blood Season 6 filming again at the Governor’s mansion. Most of the photos are general in nature and she has only published one photo of Stephen Moyer from the set.  She did get more, but she said the following about posting “spoiler photos.”

I have other images I will not post until closer to air date so as not to over “spoil” the action for fans. (HBO production really does not want all of the big action items to be leaked online yet..sorry just abiding by their rules. Also I only took photos when they were not ‘rolling’ i.e., just when they did rehearsals). The rehearsals were held during the daylight hours but filming continued later at night.

I did notice the addition of a statue in the back yard below: (looks like it could be of a Burrell relative if not the current governor)

We respect that and wouldn’t want to spoil any of the action for the fans, either.

s6spoilers

Over a Spoiler chat, there’s a small bit of news about True Blood’s Season 6 from Ryan Kwanten.  I’m a bit worried about the deaths he speaks of, but glad to see that Season 6 seems to be “getting back to basics.”

Question: Alicia R.: We haven’t heard a peep about True Blood from my bb Ryan Kwanten. What’s he doing?

He’s probably doing sit-ups somewhere. God bless him. But for real, we did just chat with him about the new season of True Blood, and he delivered some harrowing news. “There are more deaths,” he tells us. “Some favorite characters may not last.” We did not like that piece of scoop (don’t you dare touch Lafayette, TB writers!), but we did like it when Kwanten said that the show was getting back to the supernatural elements and madness that it’s famous for.

I wonder what “favorite character” might go this season? Any ideas? Leave us a comment below about who you think it might be.

s6spoilersOver at Spoiler Chat on E, a couple of new tidbits about Season 6 have been revealed by True Blood’s packmaster, Joe Manganiello.

Eliza asked: We’re less than two months away from the new season of True Blood, so how about some scoop to celebrate?

Well, can the possibility of death really be cause for celebration? Oh, all right. Take it away, Joe Manganiello: “We’re in the middle of episode six, moving right along. Right now, we still have the big cast with the big table-reads, but pretty soon everybody’s going to start getting knocked off!

As for the latest showrunner swap, Manganiello says, “I think with Brian Buckner replacing Alan Ball there’s maybe some hair being let down, maybe some ‘let’s get wild, let’s get crazy!‘”

True Blood Episode 6.07 to be called “The Funeral”

Posted by Lynnpd On April - 11 - 2013

s6spoilersI can’t believe that we are already getting a title for Episode 7 of True Blood Season 6.   This season’s episode seven is to be called, “The Funeral.”  It’s hard to believe that the new season will be here in little over two months.

And, below is some additional news about Episode 7:

There will be a flashback to 1665 and the Plague, and the role of King Charles II is being cast (ooohh, can’t wait to see who gets this part). In the present day, there will be a scene set in a Tru Blood factory. Also, we’ll meet Nicole’s mother, Mary, who will recur in 2 episodes.
