Who’s going to say these quotes in Sunday night’s finale?

Posted by Shadaliza On September - 12 - 2009

HBO is teasing the fans big time on Facebook with the following question:

Who’s going to say these quotes in Sunday night’s finale?

#1: “You could be my social, physical, or intellectual inferior, but your chances are equal to mine. It’s the perfect antidote to this world, where things such as superiority and inferiority do matter.”

#2: “Just get me in close with that bitch and I will take her down like a house of cards.”

#3: “I wanted to thank you for trusting me with your life. That couldn’t have been easy.”

My best guess is:
#1 Sophie-Anne or Maryanne
#2 Jason or Lafayette
#3 Bill, although he would probably say: that could not have been easy

What will be the True Blood’s Season 2 Cliffhanger?

Posted by Shadaliza On September - 7 - 2009

Every episode of True Blood ends with a cliffhanger that keeps the fans in suspense until the next episode. The season finale cliffhanger will keep the fans guessing until the summer of 2010 when season 3 will air. So what will this cliffhanger be?

The first season of True Blood ended with a dead body in the back on Andy Bellefleur’s car. Was it Lafayette or wasn’t it Lafayette?

I have read the synopsis for “Beyond Here Lies Nothing”, the twelfth and last episode of this season and I have seen the promo photos. I think that Maryanne will try to “marry” her god that comes and needs a two-natured vessel to do so. That could be Sam, but there might be other two-natured beings in Bon Temps that we don’t know about yet. Whomever it will be I think that could be our cliffhanger.

What is your theory? What do you think the season 2 cliffhanger will be? Post your ideas in the comments and next week we’ll see who was right!

Synopsis: The mayhem in Bon Temps reaches a fever pitch as Maryann prepares for her ultimate bestial sacrifice, conscripting Sookie to be Maid of Honor at the bloody nuptials. Meanwhile, Sophie-Anne (guest star Evan Rachel Wood) warns Eric to keep the lid on Bill’s inquisitiveness; Jason leads Andy into the heroic abyss; and Hoyt has a hard time swallowing Maxine’s endless stream of insults. Deliberating on what may be his final move to save Sookie and the town, Sam is forced to put his trust, and his life, in a most unlikely ally.

True Blood spoilers for Season 2

Spoiler Alert!

From TV Guide:

Any scoop on True Blood? The season is dragging for me. — Danny
MICKEY: Well, would Sookie and Eric naked in bed together spice things up for you, Danny? You’ll see that, and the death — yes, death — of two prominent vampires, before the end of the season.

I added the promo shown at Comic-Con because it shows an image of the scene of Sookie and Eric. How did this happen? As it is impossible for Sookie to suddenly fall in love with Eric in the next episode, my best guess is that she will consume some of Eric’s blood in the upcoming episode and Eric will start playing mind tricks with her.

The description for the upcoming episode:

A wounded Eric plays Sookie for a sucker, to Bill’s dismay. Later, Sookie and Jason reflect on their recent adventure, and end up bonding. Blaming Eggs for Tara’s bruises and bizarre behavior, Lafayette and Lettie Mae try to figure out a way to pry their kin from Maryann’s clutches. Hoyt defends his relationship with Jessica. In Dallas, Eric and the vampires defend their recent actions to Nan Flanagan, and are shocked when Godric decides to take the fall for their PR disaster.

The True Blood Season 2 finale has a title

Posted by Shadaliza On July - 24 - 2009

Finally we know what the title is of episode 2.12 Season’s 2 finale: “Before The Night Is Over“.
And that is the title of the song Sookie and Bill dance to in that episode. Sookie dressed in a sundress with her hair in a sleek up-do, and Bill in black suit, do a modified jitterbug to the Jerry Lee Lewis song “Before the Night Is Over.”

Bill and Sookie dance in True Blood’s season finale

Shooting in Louisiana, where temperatures soared to nearly 100 degrees, was not an easy task for the True Blood cast and crew but it helped the actors get into character.

“It makes you move slower, which is interesting for character,” Stephen Moyer said. “I understand now why people move so slow down here.”

“You have to move slower, or you’ll pass out,” Anna Paquin said, laughing.

Because of the heat, a medic was on hand to give out water and Gatorade, and the cast had to be transported by van the few blocks between base camp and the shooting location in Clinton because it was too hot to walk.

Still, said the show’s executive producer, Gregg Fienberg, “It was a great town. It worked really well for what we needed.”

After the Clinton shoot, production shifted indoors to the Stockade Bed and Breakfast in Baton Rouge. Once a Civil War stockade, the B&B is listed on the National Register of Historical Places as an archaeological site.

The Stockade’s great room — an open space with a balcony, baby grand piano, large wood-burning fireplace and floor-to-ceiling glass wall — was transformed into a restaurant for the shoot. A nearby breakfast room, filled with antiques and hummingbird and botanical prints, became a makeshift studio for directors and script supervisors to watch the scenes unfold on monitors.

The sequence shot on this day was a dance scene. Paquin, in a sundress with her hair in a sleek up-do, and Moyer in black suit, do a modified jitterbug to the Jerry Lee Lewis song “Before the Night Is Over.” Between takes, the actors chill out in a back room at the B&B where stylists touch up their makeup.

Footage from the Louisiana shoot will appear in upcoming episodes and the season finale, set to air on Sept. 13, which is expected to include the dance scene.
