I appreciate Charlaine’s take on the show and the variety of vampire entertainment experiences out there. Personally, I think there’s room for and an audience for all of them.

She expresses the vampire phenom quite well. I love her candor about her excitement when Ball chose her books and over the casting team nailing some of the characters. I was curious about how she fell about the casting of the main trio and also the King. The King has been the best new character. His addition has made the Queen’s role finally more bearable. those two actors are really bringing out the best of each other. Would love to have heard her thoughts on that storyline.

I´m really relieved, that they don´t really cross each other with their views of the story. Jessica Hamby is a great character, but so are others in the books.
@ksebold: I have to agree to your opinion of the casting of Sophie-Ann and Russell: Russell was one of my favorites in the later books, so I was a bit sceptic about the changes in character for the TB-’S03. But Denis O´Hare really pulled it off!
Rachels portray also relieved me a great deal.
