The True Blood season finale was watched by 5.114 million viewers.
The amazing first season DVD success for True Blood continues. In its 16th week of release it added on another 62,123 units – a 12% increase from week 15, along with another $2.2 million in sales. Its sixteen week totals are 1.49 million units with estimated revenue of almost $52 million.
The second season of True Blood is available for pre-order on Amazon.
Wow for HBO… The first season was magnificent! I hope the actors get a share in that!
I am also curious how the sales for season 2 will go.

Alan Ball, Anna Paquin, Steve Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard and ALL the rest of the HBO True Blood Cast & Crew are absolutely fantastic! I can’t believe Season 2 is over already. It seems, to me, like it just started. Now I can hardly wait for Season 3 to begin. It is my sincere hope that this show goes on and on and on and on….., etc.! LOL Thank you HBO & Alan Ball….. everyone associated with this show, THANK YOU SO MUCH! (I’ve put my fangs away until the next season, have hidden my Tru-Blood in my bedroom closet, washed and folded my Bill’s Babe t-shirt and cry every time I pass by them all.) ;-)

Alan Ball so much deserves the credit for his vision in bringing True Blood to the screen and to life. I am VERY happy for him and the entire cast and crew of True Blood.
Let’s make sure we TOP the Season 1 DVD’s $52 million in sales , for the Season 2 DVD when they come out …..it’s the only way we will get a Season 4.

That’s a 38% increase just this season alone (from premiere to finale). Going back to my recollection of the pilot’s numbers – 1.44 million? – that’s a staggering increase of 255% (from pilot to S2 finale).
Holy. Crap.
It’s just amazing, and those DVD numbers are too astronomical to even comprehend. Go on with your bad selves True Blood, HBO, cast and crew. Y’all deserve it!
