Five Fangtastic Favorites for season Five…with One being the highest Favorite.
The following fashion choices are based on the comments that have been posted by fans on Twitter and Facebook. So it’s an overall judgment from social medias out there as well as a personal view too.
Audrey Fisher is True Blood’s costume Designer.
What were your favorite outfits? Post about it in the comments.
#5 Fangtasia Hoyt
Suffering from a broken heart and trying to repair it the best way he can Hoyt cruises the nightlife at Fangtasia. A black mesh muscle top, studded jewelry, eyeliner and a ticking time bomb attitude Hoyt is not about to make the same mistakes again, or is he?

In this video from HBO Go Jim Parrack comments on his new found attire in Season Five and how Audrey Fisher – True Blood Costume Designer helped him put together the new look for Hoyt. Hhh
#4 Fangtasia Pam
Eric has still not emerged and Pam is worried, texting faster than humanly possible Sookie approaches Pam for help to find missing Tara. Gone is the Wallmart outfit and black nightwear has returned, short black leather jacket, black leather corset, fingerless leather gloves, tight black pants and FM heeled boots with bite. Pam is running Fangtasia while Eric is away and this Vampire is not in the mood for games or a newborn vamp on the loose.

#3 ‘Cotton Candy’ Jessica
A new fragrance is in town and Jessica describes it as being just like ‘Cotton Candy’ aroused by the smell she beckons Jason for sweet relief but little to her knowledge Jason is having an identity crisis. Jessica believes in friendship and right now Jason needs a true friend. The sleeveless pastel peach fitting mini dress maybe a little distracting for Jason so Jessica opts for a pair of Jason’s sweats, a beer and offers a listening ear. Great dress and such a great friend!

#2 ‘Your heart’ – Salome
The Authority need answers and Salome will do what she knows best to sift out the answers they need. King Bill succumb to Salome’s bitter sweetness alleviates any queries they may have and initiates a more intimate course of action. Seduction can be profoundly affective when wearing a long elegant black laced gown it appears King Bill found its texture very agreeable.

#1 ‘Training Bra’ – Eric and Bill
Captives Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid aka Eric Northman and King Bill Compton have been placed under strict surveillance as they are appointed by the Authority to bring in Russell Edgington for prosecution. Both men are equipped with a suicide device attached to a harness that can be detonated by the push of a button. Surprisingly an Application available on what appears to be an IPhone has the ability to set off a wooden stake through the heart if activated. A great piece of fangtastic fashion technology designed to acquire motivation where needed. I wonder how they will get out of this contraption unscathed. Thankfully we have next week to hopefully find out.

I am such a sucker for black. Both Pam and Salome rocked it with their outfits. Hoyt was a total surprise. I think he’ll blend in nicely at Fangtasia, but I’m worried for him. That’s a wild scene. Is he really ready for it? I know all about Spencer’s. We have one in my town.
Hands down my favorite look was the IStake. Now I don’t want any harm to come to Bill and Eric … perish the thought. No puddles of goo for those boys. But they looked really hot in their “training bras.”
Nicely done, Lisa.

Lisa,
During True Blood there’s so much going on that fashion is not something I focus on. That’s why I love your Fangtastic Fashion articles. I like your choices and your critique of the characters wardrobe.

Lisa thanks for your look at TB fashion. Pam always it tops, and this episode I agree Jessica’s mini dress looks perfect on Jessica and made me think of Arleen’s son’s Colby(?) line in S1 to Sookie when their coming over to be babysat; “are you wearing your nightie?” lol.
Salome’s number is sensually brilliant and worn to perfection by Valentina but so out of place in the warehouse hallways.
The iStake device scares me…..
