Five Fangtastic Favorites for season Five…with One being the highest Favorite.

The following fashion choices are based on the comments that have been posted by fans on Twitter and Facebook. So it’s an overall judgment from social medias out there as well as a personal view too.

Audrey Fisher is True Blood’s costume Designer.

What were your favorite outfits of episode 5.05? Post about it in the comments.

#5 Salome

The rise of Russell Edgington is nearing and zero results have been produced by Eric and Bill.  An agitated Guardian, over the loss of Counselor Drew, provides a way for the beautiful seductress Salome to lend a listening ear and wise words of understanding.    Salome’s true power is silenced beneath the colors she wears a perfect understatement for any occasion.  This dress is a stunning fit on Salome great work Audrey!

#4 Pam

How great is this red? It is amazingly eighties, reminds me of the model Cindy Crawford the days where ‘Revlon red’ was the color for girls with attitude and long legs, all of which actress Kristen Bauer Van Straten has.  In an article with Zap2it Audrey explains the theme of the dress and her personal love of the 80ties,

Audrey Fisher:“This red one is so good! It is a vintage North Beach Leather dress. North Beach is a really well-known line from the ’80s. I was a teenager in the ’80s and for me it’s such an epic look. Cindy Crawford,  Christy Turlington and Claudia Schiffer all did ads. This Glamazon look is imprinted on my mind. I wanted a very special outfit for this episode — especially arch and bitchy and fabulous. I got in my head that I wanted a North Beach look, and I got it on eBay and it fit her like a glove. It was magical like Cinderella’s slipper and she looks fantastic, like Donna Mills. It’s completely over-the-top ’80s and I’m so proud to be able to rock the North Beach Leather on the show because I am such a fan. I also love her giant hair and amazing makeup. Kristin is our ‘True Blood’ Barbie doll that we get to play with.”

#3 Jessica

Determined to befriend the terrifying Tara, Jessica offers a listening ear and an alternate view to Vampirism. Dressed in cheetah pattern pants, t-shirt and jacket it’s a look fierce enough to match Tara’s attitude at the bar.

#2 Fierce Tara

Filled with human blood and sporting fangtastic new threads from her Maker Tara is set for a night mixing with her fellow vampires.  Until it is revealed her mixing will be behind the bar.  A strapless beaded corset, curly locks and tight pants a look to turn heads and true blood handles.

#1 He-man Onesie

By the power of Gray Skull! And Audrey Fisher! How AMAZING is Jason Stackhouse in this Onesie? I admit I am a huge fan of Masters of the Universe and this brought an absolute smile to my face. I had to go back to the dialogue a few times because I was too overwhelmed with memories of waking up early on Saturday mornings to watch He-Man and Battle cat.  In a screen cap provided by HBO a beautiful description of how this Masterful piece was brought together by Audrey and her team further explains its full creation,

Audrey Fisher: “One of our colleagues brought in some adorable pictures of himself in He-Man pajamas, which confirmed the color palette and style.  My key Costumer found vintage bright colors with feet and butt flaps.  We washed down the Onesies and cut up the sheets, strategically placing the He-Man logo.  The final touch was lightly distressing the PJs: wear on the knees and a hole in the toe just like an active toddler might have and Voila!”

Jason was a hoot in his outfit. He’s #1 in my book, followed by all-in-glorious-red Pam. Jessica’s outfit didn’t do a lot for me, but Salome was gorgeous in hers. I have to give some kudos to Roman who always looks good in whatever suit he is wearing.

    Great list. Thanks for providing.

Great Fashion Favorites especially Pam with her “look-at-me-red” North Beach Leather stunner letting everyone know she’s the boss now at Fangtasia and how can they not with that hair!

I loved Jessica in the edgy look as I did Tara in the corset that overflows….all ladies are beautiful, Pam and seductive Salome included.

Jason’s He-man, hahaha is just perfect for the grown-up man-child.

Does anyone have any idea what brand and shade of lipstick Salome wears in one or two episodes? I don’t think it’s the one in the picture of her here- it’s the super bright red one that’s almost pink? I think it’s gorgeous but I can’t find any mention of it anywhere!
