HBO has just announced that True Blood will have a sixth season. The message was posted on the official HBO True Blood Twitter account.

True Blood is on hiatus usually until either the end of November or early December.They shoot the first episode at least, before the holidays.

Yay! I was a little worried they might not renew then we wouldn’t get a proper finale/endgame. Hopefully if season 6 is the last the writers will know that well in advance and be able to give us a fitting ending.
I’m so enjoying season 5 and am very much looking forward to season 6.

Oh, I hope that the 6th is not the last Season. Most HBO Series go for at least 8. The really good ones anyway. If Quin should be introduces I think /hope Actor Michael Ealy will be cast. He has the Height/Skin/Blue eyes that Quinn has. I see him as a great WereTiger. Also I want to See Eric & Sookie get Married at least like in the books.
