This week’s True Blood episode 5.01 is discussed by Alan Ball and director, Daniel Minehan. Alan talks about why the decision was made to make Tara and what it is in Terry’s past that has given him such nightmares and haunts him so much. And, then there’s Steve Newlin, very interesting.
Alan also talks about how Alex and Stephen had a good time with the bromance.

Thanks for providing. Some images are burned on my brain … Pam in her WalMart sweat suit, the Reverend confessing that he is a gay Vampire American in love with Jason. Great beginning to Season 5. Appreciate the insights into “Turn, turn, turn.”

I kinda felt for Newlin this ep, though it was a lot of fun seeing him come out to Jason as a gay vampire American. I’d pay to see the outtakes of Stephen and Alex cracking each other up!

Thanks for the Inside the Episode, it is enlightening to find out what is going on behind the scenes.

Hi, everybody, so the first episode was fantastic and I am so excited for the rest of season 5 of true blood. But, my question is that is Bill and Eric against mainstreaming with humans, I know that they trying to deal with the vampire authority, but are they still at peace with the human race? That’s what is puzzling me. And the whole Tara turning into a vampire that was a surprise. So, please can anyone answer my question that would be much appreciated.
Sincerely, Cristen Stimple
