Miranda, J.R. Cash is a huge influence on my life and music. You’re right; I should have mentioned him! He was not just a great “artist”, but an amazing human being.

I’m so grateful to The Vault and it’s community for embracing my music. I’m honored to be a part of this community. Thanks for having me!

This man is a very exciting musical artist! I appreciated how he’s a fan of True Blood and was inspired by it to write songs about the storylines.

Love “Bad Things” — can’t get enough of it, and it totally sets the tone for the show in the brilliant opening sequence. I play it over and over in my car. I hear Johnny Cash in his voice — was surprised Jace didn’t mention him. But I’m definitly a fan! Thanks for the great interview, Shad.

Another Great Interview ! I love reading about Jace. Funny, I also thought that Chris Isaak sang the title song for TB when I first heard it! I wish him continued success and I too will buy the CD…. I love his voice.

I would love to see Jace do a cameo on the show – that would be so cool !

Awesome interview Shad….you always ask such great questions and his answers were really good and thoughtful. I particularly like the fact that he wants to be a janitor who whistles Bad Things in the background at Merlotte’s…That is perfect for the show’s funny side!! I too will be buying his new CD. I love that he wrote some songs specifically for Bill/Sookie. Bad Things is one of my all time favorite songs now!!

OMG, great interview! I laughed because I thought for the longest time that “Bad Things” was sung by Chris Isaak, and I also thought he said “to you” instead of “with you” until I paid closer attention.

I’m definitely off to buy the CD at Amazon (through The Vault links, of course). How exciting that the show – especially Bill and Sookie – inspired some of the songs.

Jace, I’m so glad True Blood has helped to revive your career, and I hope you continue to make beautiful music. I’ll be listening.

I will be buying his new album! His voice just blows me away. They couldn’t have picked a better song for True Blood. He is a down home country boy so he’s a damn good man with talent to boot! What more could you want?!

Congratulations Shad! Great interview with a fabulous musician. I was lucky enough to catch his performance the other evening on the internet and he is really, really good. I so enjoyed it! I loved hearing the songs from the new album, I’ll be buying it. Bad Things is the perfect song for True Blood and it really is a gem of a song. I wish him every success and hope he gets that car that he so wants.
