Joe Manganiello to Appear in Benefit Reading of Tennessee Williams ‘Small Craft Warnings’

True Blood’s Joe Manganiello and Emmy winner William H. Macy will star in a benefit reading of Tennessee Williams’ Small Craft Warnings July 29 at the Annenberg Community Beach House, 415 Pacific Coast Hwy, Santa Monica, CA 90402.

At the benefit for HERO Theatre, the 6 PM reading will  be directed by John Frank Levey.

The evening will also feature a silent auction.

Olympia Dukakis is chair of HERO Theatre’s Advisory Board. The company’s mission is to “build bridges between cultures by way of the classics.” The company will present classical plays and new plays by contemporary playwrights inspired by classics.

The upcoming benefit is part of HERO’s fundraising efforts to present its first full-scale production, Anton Chekhov’s Three Sisters, featuring a new translation by Russian writer Tatyana Tolstaya and playwright Migdalia Cruz.
