In her own way Pam is nurturing her progeny. The gift of Tracy was a big step forward. Tara is in a position of power now; too bad Tracy didn’t keep her mouth shut. It doesn’t do to insult a gal with whom you had a rocky high school relationship … especially when that person is now a powerful vampire.
