True Blood’s Lucy Griffiths has let go of some secrets about her role of Nora in Season 5. She recently starred in Robin Hood but now she plays an “irreverent British” vampire who was also sired by Godric and has a “love/hate relationship” with her brother Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård). Nora is also part of the Vampire Authority ruling council, which will play a big part in the new season.
In this photo from the premiere below, Nora, Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) and Bill (Stephen Moyer) are on the attack. “It occurs just after I’ve met them, and it’s a reaction to being taken by surprise by some threatening characters.” ”It’s a reaction to being taken by surprise by some threatening characters,” she explained.
“We think [she] was turned during Elizabethan or Victorian times,” Griffiths told TV Guide. “It’s been years since she’s seen Eric, and she is very excited.
“She looks up to him, but they’ve had a fiery love/hate relationship in the way that brothers and sisters do.”
Eight episodes into filming, there’s no great Bon Temps romance for Nora, but Lucy has her eye on another new series regular: Italian actress Valentina Cervi, who plays ancient vampire seductress Salome: “They’re very close.”

I’m always intriqued by new vampires on TB but I’m more so with Nora, Eric’s sister played by Lucy Griffiths. Is there a reason they are leaving her age in question by a 250 years spread? Is she more Bill’s age and equal in strenght or much older and stronger? Or is this of not importance at all…..
