True Blood composer Nathan Barr and singer Lisbeth Scott will perform “Take Me Home” at the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce’s 2009 Gala
Attendees of the 2009 Gala will catch prized glimpses of numerous television personalities including the event’s Hal Sparks, True Blood creator and Executive Producer Alan Ball, The Young and the Restless’ Kate Linder, Dallas’ Charlene Tilton. Guests will also be invited to view exclusive live musical performances by American Idol’s Frenchie Davis, True Blood composer Nathan Barr and vocalist Lisbeth Scott, as well as out Latin singing sensation Ben Roman.
Other appearances throughout the night include performances by the Bollywood Step dance troupe and the Balliamos Dance Studio, the country’s first same-sex dance studio; and a special presentation of the Raytheon Community Advancement Award by the founder of the NOH8 Campaign, Adam Bouska. Additional celebrity appearances will be announced at a later date.
The LAGLCC will be honoring the “Business of the Year”; “Corporate Partner of the Year” and the “LAGLCC-Raytheon Community Advancement Award Winner” as well as awarding two scholarships to “Young LGBT Business Students”.
Online ticket sales are now available… the cost is $100 to attend the gala, which includes the evening’s entertainment, dinner, drinks and valet parking.
The event will be held on Sunday October 4th at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood Blvd, Cocktails at 5 pm, Show 6:00 – 9:00pm.
