On May 2, Tabú Ultra Lounge in MGM Grand will welcome on- and off-screen couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, as well as Sam Trammell and Alexander Skarsgard for the HBO’s hit series True Blood cast party.
According to the Las Vegas Sun they will walk the red carpet at midnight.

Cool but the poster is odd. Stephen Moyer hardly looks like that picture anymore – I think it is from his The Starter Wife Days. Wheres the hunky vampire?!?! :) ok, he looks good as the hunky beach guy too. And the arrangement of the cast names is odd.

In reading the small print I see that the event is not associated with HBO. Maybe they couldn’t use the True Blood pics if HBO is sponsoring. So is this just a money maker for the hotel and stars and not really publicity for the show? and where is Alex indeed!

i thought the poster was a bit odd too. stephen’s picture is quite old and alex is not there. this event is this weekend, funny we are just now hearing about it. i’m wondering what there hosting duties will include. like does stephen get to bite people, will anna serve them drinks, will sam sniff them, and will alex break people’s cameras ahahaha.

There usually isn’t a lot to these types of events. We should get some nice arrival pics, but that’s it. The stars are usually in the VIP area and it’s just a way to get more people to the club overall.
The Pacquiao/Hatton fight is the same night at the very same hotel, so I wouldn’t be surprised if some of our faves turned up there as well!

I’m in L.A…. I work at a casino. What are the chances that I can get in and see them? Damn, it’s tempting.
I bet Lou is right, though. It would be a lot of effort, expense and hassle for a brief glimpse at a distance. I’ll see what I can find out. If interested, they’ll definitely be at the fight – for sure.

I think Lou/Sweetwater are on the right track, our favorite Brit is probably going to see the fight and why not kill two birds with one stone (the Tabu thing). The LA Times says 25K Brits are in Vegas to cheer Hatton on.
