I always love seeing photos of him smiling, however I am curious about the facial hair. I’ve noticed it in his pics since January. Shouldn’t they be well into filming right now? Can vamps grow facial hair? I guess it could be flashbacks but I’m curious…

Alex has always had scruff in his role as Eric, even back in the days of the wig.

True, but I guess it seemed more prominent in the pics than usual. Then again with makeup on top I’m sure it doesn’t look as noticeable.
