Metromix did a quick Q&A with the True Blood cast. Check it out here.
The poor cast must be exhausted with all this press they’re doing. All in all, it was a good article, except I wish Stephen would stop talking about the effects of his and Anna’s relationship on the show. Even when he jokes around about it, like he did here, some people take it very seriously regardless of how the comment was intended to be taken. In the U.S., we have alot of taboos around people who are members of the same team dating in their personal lives. I think the show’s publicist should help Stephen know what to say and what not to say to the U.S. celebrity journalists who make a living off of spinning innocent comments into damaging articles. IMO.

This is really confusing–why are you slamming Stephen for talking about effects of their relationship on show?? As far as I can tell neither one of them likes talking about their personal relationship (ex: Watch EW Must List video during photo shoot where Stephen talks about taking his daughter to see “Up” and then next day taking his “girlfriend” — could he possibly mean that blonde person standing 20 feet away from him?). How can you criticize him for the rare time he does make reference to her when it only demonstrates that he cares for her & they are the real deal — not some fabricated romance to sell gossip mags or a movie. From all accounts they have been very professional and private not revealing their relationship to cast & crew until earlier this year, many months after shooting of 1st season had started. I don’t know how they pulled that off.
Or maybe the US should start letting go of some of it’s taboos and start to live a little.
