Rutina Wesley‘s favorite vamp scene was tearing up the Stackhouse kitchen, she talks about it on HBO Go.
Playing a whole different Tara is exciting but also scary for Rutina.
Nelsan Ellis explains why Lafayette wanted to stake Tara.
Tara’s Brain
Alan Ball explains why Tara’s so savage: “We worked really hard to give the idea that because Tara was so injured when she was turned, it took awhile for all of her brain to regenerate. So there’s a 24-hour period where she’s like a feral beast. It was a lot of fun to film.”

I wonder if that’s her own dress she is wearing for this interview or if it’s one of the costumes for a later episode. It would be cool if her Maker started giving her some fashion tips. She is a beautiful woman but the character usually dresses down so you don’t get the full effect. I am actually enjoying the change for Tara and hoping to see some great scenes with her and Pam this season.

A feral Tara was fun and exciting to watch. However, it’s good to know that the real Tara is somewhere inside this newly-turned vampire.
I could sympathize with Lafayette’s pain. He wanted to hold onto his friend, yet hated that she had become what she most despised.
