The Audie Awards, which honor the best in audiobooks, were handed out in New York City on Tuesday, June 5 and Rutina Wesley was a winner for  her role as Beneatha Younger in Lorainne Hansberry’s A Raisin in the Sun.  I saw Rutina in that production of the play when it was recorded and I can verity that she was fabulous in her part.  Here’s a link to my article about it: Rutina Wesley in “A Raisin In The Sun.”

30 Rock star Tina Fey received Audie Awards for Audio Book of the Year and best Biography/Memoir for her narration of her best-seller Bossypants.
