Ryan Kwanten in Amsterdam to shoot Heineken movie

Posted by Shadaliza On December - 2 - 20131 COMMENT

Ryan was spotted in Amsterdam on the set of the action film “Kidnapping Freddy Heineken” with fellow Aussie Sam Worthington and Brit Jim Sturgess. Set in the early eighties, the film is based on the real-life kidnapping of the Heineken heir and follows the planning, execution, aftermath and ultimate downfall of the kidnappers (played by Worthington, Kwanten and Sturgess).

Oscar-winner Anthony Hopkins is in the title role of Freddy Heineken, who was held ransom for 35 million Dutch guilders. Even after the ransom was paid Heineken and his driver were not released, the police managed to find Heineken and free him, unfortunately his driver was killed by the kidnappers.
