True Blood’s Sam Trammell will be in Manhatten Beach this Friday to show his support for Project Angel Food that delivers meals to people affected by HIV/Aids, cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Kiehl’s, the 160-year-old apothecary is expanding to Manhattan Beach and donating 1 percent of every 2012 purchase from the new location to Project Angel Food. During Kiehl’s grand opening on Friday from 11am to 1pm actors Alan Cumming (The Good Wife) and Sam Trammell (True Blood) will be there to show their support and the first 50 guests get a free gift. The promotion continues all weekend with every person who visits the store receiving a deluxe sample, complimentary skin consultations and 20-minute facials (yeah), a raffle, and more gifts when you spend $65 or more. So if you’re feeling charitable and addicted to Kiehl’s lip balm like I am, this is a great way to appease both needs.
The new store is located at Manhattan Village, 3200 Sepulveda Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA.
