sigh :( I’m not liking this look at all. Although, I have noticed lately in photos elsewhere that alexander’s hair looks highlighted slightly. i wonder if that look gradually comes back later on. Hoping ..

Ok Bill’s hair use to drive me crazy and now Eric! I don’t like this, but I liked him in the miniepisode with Pam. He looks like he’s tapping his fingers….maybe to the music as Yvetta is dancing?? I don’t know. I can’t wait to see Sookie’s poster!

If someone makes a comment about hair, it doesn’t mean the essence of their admiration is based on superficialities, not sure that’s what you’re theorizing here. Seems to me that both tribes of fans have commented on hairstyles, both Bill’s and Eric’s.
I believe they gel or spray back Alex’s hair because it always falls forward onto his face. Based on comments by Alan Ball, I don’t think they’ll be putting ASkars back into a long wig so his hair will likely remain some variation of what we see in this picture for the remainder of the series, IMO.
As to both Bill’s and Eric’s hair, as long as they don’t put them in cornrows or mohawks, my enjoyment of their characters won’t be affected by their hair.

Selle, Its been something I have read over the last 2 years or so….based on different posts, here at at other forums.
I agree, last season Bill looked not his best…and we complained about that while Eric fans laughed about it. Seems they have switched makeup artists, who knows.
I think Eric looked great last season actually and especially in the season finale….
If you look at his hair, its still looks dirty blonde to me, not as light as it was before but still blonde. I agree also that I will still enjoy Eric’s character….but the look he has shown thus far in previews and or spoilers seems different to me….

Well, we Bill fans have been yelling about Bill’s hair for quite some time. Because his hair was so bad, in season 2, it was distracting. There are more than a few million of us that are dying for AB to let him go back to his natural color. In season 1, when he walked into Merlotte’s, it was brown.

YES!! I lean toward Bill ( for the books and show ). And in season 2 Bill’s hair was going through some crazy hair/gel experimentation. I know Eric fans could care less about the hair and in the end like Bill fans its the overall character that they like!

I hope you didn’t see my comment as an attack. I didn’t intend it to be that way. But, when I went back and read my post, I thought it could be taken that way.
One of the complaints that I had about Bill’s hair, in season 2, was that the really dark bangs were often in his eyes. I felt this really held Stephen back and it was distracting. So much of his acting is done with subtle glances that speak volumes and you couldn’t see that because of the dark bangs hiding his eyes in many scenes.
