I seriously couldn’t concentrate on work this afternoon when I read this! I’ve been waiting since “Sparks Fly Out” to see more about Bill and Caroline. This scene being after he is made vampire will be gut-wrenching, I’m sure, but I cannot wait to see it.
The suggestion of Amanda Seyfried is awesome, but she does look so incredibly young. Does she have an older sister, by chance?

I am confused, I thought Bill said he wasn’t “with” them since he went to war. Wouldn’t this scene be considered “with” her at least?? UGH, I have a love/hate relationship with spoilers!! soo much to think about, I hope it is really in there, i would love to watch it!!

You know, this could actually fit well with what we’ve been given. When Rene asked Bill at the DGD if he could’ve gone back to his family after being made vampire, Bill got this haunted look in his eyes and stated sadly that it wasn’t possible. Maybe he knew that it wasn’t possible because he went back and things didn’t go well? *sob*
Some “Hugs 4 Vampire Bill” t-shirts should be added to the Billsbabe Shoppe. Our vamp will need them in season 3!!

I’ve been patiently waiting for scenes with his wife and children. I agree with Cocoa about how sexy Stephen is during the civil war flashbacks. Love to see him in his uniform! I’m suggesting Emily Van Camp (Rebecca from Brothers & Sisters) to play Caroline Compton. She’s a blonde in her twenties and has that peaches and creme look of a southern belle.

I can see her as Bill’s wife. They will need to be mindful of who they cast. She has to be just right because Bill would have been careful in choosing a wife in his human life. I assume they will be testing for chemistry with Stephen. Stephen has chemistry to spare but these ladies better bring their A game.

It seems to be one scene in this episode, but hopefully it will continue into episode 4. Surely we won’t see Caroline drawing a gun on Bill and then…nothing. That would be too cruel. :(

I was thinking maybe Bill goes back cuz he can’t help himself and then glamours her so she doesn’t remember cuz its probably a bad experience I’m sure. There’s just no way for that encounter to end happily.
I love vampire flashback stuff also, Bill, Eric, waiting to see Pams’ Turning that would be friggin awesome. The Eric and Bill flashback stuff last season were some of my favorite scenes by far.

Have to agree with the earlier posts regarding Amanda Seyfried. I can see her in the role or maybe for a twist…Ms. Paquin. It would give the impression, they have been united all along through time…the reason other than the sharing of blood.

My feeling about this flashback is it will happen while Bill is being tortured and is hallucinating(sp)? We know this is supposed to happen so I’m thinking he will be remembering Caroline and these characters will come into play. As the teaser to the story says, she is ready to shoot him and he will be having these sad images of it since he is in pain from the torture. Just my thoughts, we’ll see how it plays out.

Didn’t Bill tell Sookie (and i can’t remember which episode) that he saw his wife when she was dying???? He went to her at that time. Now that would be an explosive scene.
