True Blood starts production on Season 3 this week and the casting assignments are starting to appear which you can read after the break. SPOILER ALERT.
The Ausiello Files reports that debuting in episode 2, is middle-aged Melinda Mickens and Joe Lee who share the surname of Mickens, the same last name as Tommy, the character previously reported as Sam’s brother. These must be Sam’s biological parents.
The show is also on the hunt for a knockout to play Crystal Norris, a mysterious beauty who bewitches one of our alpha males. She’ll also makes her first appearance in the second episode.
And during that episode, we’ll flash back to a World War II werewolf dogfight, and then flash forward again to meet a werewolf biker who likes the look of Sookie. We’ll also be treated to the spectacle of Tara smacking down a couple of rednecks who diss the recently deceased, Eggs.
