In the new HBO promo several scenes of True Blood’s season 3 can be seen. First a close up of Bill and Sookie. Bill running through the woods and another close up. Eric in Fangtasia and Jessica bringing a guest for dinner.

Thanks, Shad … speculating here. Bill has escaped from his captors, or maybe this is a flashback. I’m guessing that an upset Sookie is seeking out Eric for his help in tracking down Bill. And poor, out-of-control Jessica. Is this the trucker she was feeding on at the end of S2?

Bill does look great – My fingers are crossed that the makeup crew has finally sorted out last year’s Moe Howard hair-do (hair don’t) and 6 inches of pancake make-up!

I loooooove that opening shot of Bill. When I saw that on HBO last night, with the slow focus close-up, I almost died. Sookie looks pissed, Jessica needs to learn how to dispose of a body (don’t drag it into the house!), and Eric looks good.
Well done, HBO. Now I need more!

the one thing that stood out to me was how weak she was as a vampire……LOL
I mean I know its tv but she should be able to throw that body in the house with her strength now right?

it almost looks as though sookie is walking into fangtasias basement again …. and she is wearing the purple dress from her dinner with bill …. correct me if i’m wrong but just in speculation i imagine she took bills car, drove to fangtasia thinking that eric took him (perhaps this is why she looks pissed) then upon the realization that neither of them know, we have a worried sookie ad a worried eric. jmo.

I think so….Sookie also knows that since Eric is sheriff he would also want to know if anything happened to his vamps in his territory…..something we have seen in the past….I do believe sookie leaves the restaurant in Bill’s car and goes straight to fangtasia. perhaps walks in on something that either alarms her or she is angry and worried at the same time….hard to tell by her expression.

I don’t see Eric being worried about Bill…….remember his last line in the season finale was “I will take care of Bill Compton..personally”. He may be worried that Sookie might find out that he’s behind the kidnapping, but other than that I don’t think he would worry about Bill. He has been trying to find a way to get rid of Bill without implicating himself for a while now.

Let the Season 3 speculation begin! Who on Earth would Sookie be talking to in Fangtasia’s basement? Did Lafayette get thrown in again? And that looks like Pam going up behind her.

I am not sure, the pics are bit dark. It looks like a darker blonde but still blonde. Maybe it is closer Alex’s natural color? We will have to see it in brighter light. Perhaps Pam wanted to try something new or refused to hi light it anymore since he ruined it last time with all that blood ;) I don’t think it looks bad.

Regarding Jessica dragging a body into the house, I notice there are no flowers from Hoyt on the porch so I’m wondering if this is not the trucker from the finale, but is someone else from either another feeding or maybe it’s that former student of Jessica’s that we saw a spoiler about. The student to whom I refer is the one that recognizes Jessica and is relieved she’s still alive.

In the beginning when Jessica was made vampire, I thought this will be a lot of fun watching her character cause havoc, and it was. But now, I FEEL so for her. It’s all so sad isn’t it. I fear that her character will be sooo tragic, and something unfortunate will happen to her. Whether it is something she doesn’t foresee, or someone will have to do the bad task of ending her. (sorry guys…aww, I don’t mean to be a downer, but it’s bothering me!) :( I sooo hope not. I just love her! **Just my own Speculation**
