Christina Moore will join the season 4 cast of True Blood as a recurring character. Her credits ainclude Hawthorne, MADtv, That ’70s Show, and 90210. She will play Suzanne McKittrick, a WASPy Texas housewife who possesses certain special abilities. Moore will shoot her True Blood arc while on hiatus from Hawthorne; production is scheduled to get underway this spring.
Neil Hopkins (a.k.a. Charlie’s brother Liam on Lost) landed a multi-episode stint as as Claude, Claudine’s mysterious brother.
Chris Butler (The Good Wife) will be Emory, a prissy and conservative shapeshifter with his own agenda.

I like the new cast members~ just one question, is Neil Hopkins going
to resemble Claude as he’s in the books? YOU know dark hair,sexy body??

Good questions, but we have no idea what they are going to do with his look. I would guess he would be similar to the books, but you never know.

well, they cut Eric’s hair & Eric in the books still has long blonde hair..frankly, I <3 the short hair on Eric though much better

Hmmm…not what I pictured as Claude….but I also didn’t picture who they choose for Claudine……..I think they are going to continue to be much different from the books….

The guy they cast as Claude is the typical American “hunk”. We see those all over TV. A little too cookie-cutter for my taste, so I won’t hide my disappointment. Couldn’t they have picked someone exotic as well as gorgeous? Not feeling it at all.

I wouldn’t know, I didn’t see Lost. He still looks run-of-the-mill, nothing extraordinary. The fact that he’s British means nothing, that’s where a lot of Americans that look like that had ancestors coming from.
I still think that he looks right out of a CW show, that’s what they usually typecast.

i feel like theo alexander was wasted on talbot (though i loved the character) and should have been cast as claude. he seems so fitting …. and it would be a joy to see him again. :’[

Both Claudine and Claude are supposed to be drop dead gorgeous. The people cast are nowhere close. Could walk pasted them on the street & never look back. (And I live in the middle of nowhere not LA)

Casting actors to look precisely as described in books would be difficult at best. Pairing character appearances with talented actors may prove to be even more difficult. Some of the characters had physical attributes seldom seen in real life. Imo AB has made few mistakes and has actually improved upon many aspects of the story and characters. I’ll wait to see what is offered before judging.

I’m a little disappointed about the casting of Claude an Claudine. It is not just their look that doesn’t do it for me but the whole feel and the way they made Claudine’s personality different from the books is a shame. I pictured her as so much more spunky and vibrant and what not. She seems dull on the show. Now it seems that Claude is going to be a lot different as well. We’ll just have to wait and see…..

I hope I’m pleasantly surprised by the actor who’ll play Claude. Not at all how I pictured Claude. I wonder if he’ll still have the male strip club. This actor just doesn’t look the part of a gay male stripper/model with a bad attitude.
